  1. Well, can be saved if it would stop crashing that is. ;)
  2. $500 or so probably, prices have been varying. BLT has 11 in stock for $425 currently.
  3. If Windows 7 is a paper cut, Windows Vista is a paper cut on the tip of your tongue. :)
  4. There are several posts around that explain how to fix that. You might want to just skip it though, since as of Beta 3 Nevada is being removed till next year sometime so ED can work on it more. Since you've preordered you'll get it free when it's out, but it won't be available for a while soon. Also, that green in your sig is completely unreadable. :)
  5. Wouldn't you constantly be holding down Ctrl-M in that case? Does that not conflict with other Ctrl+ options or is this a one time thing? Like it does Ctrl-M once, then doesn't do anything else till you change it's state?
  6. Wow, really neat series, thanks for sharing!
  7. Have faith and don't worry! They started shipping hours after I cancelled my order with them and I ended up paying a bit more, but I've also had several weeks with mine which was well worth it. :)
  8. Sure is, I run it no problems on Windows 7 64bit. You definitely want Windows 7 over Vista, Win7 is in every single way better.
  9. As long as your Throttle is set to the configuration in the first post, the buttons on it can be mapped by outside programs. The key is you can't map outside if any switched are in the "active" state. All I did was set it up as above, then Options -> Capture -> PTT button in TS3, clicked Mic Switch Up and it mapped it no problem. It mapped as JOY BTN8 or something similar.
  10. Search the forums and you'll find some good information about how it works in BlackShark. Seems it enters you into the mission where you can set navigational settings that will default to be part of the mission. In A-10C so far it seems to simply crash the editor. :)
  11. Whoa, you can do that! heh Didn't know that it pushed in too. WH wonders never cease! (Much like it's green backlighting...)
  12. Mic Switch Down is UHF, but Mic Switch Up is free. Shame my TeamSpeak is on a secondary machine and I can't map any controls to it. :(
  13. I'm crashing every time I exit the "Prepare Mission" part... :/
  14. Good question! I keep seeing references to things like "The mission designer can set that up", but never how to set that up. heh
  15. I'm a moron, this is for the KA-50. Someone had a profile I'll find it. :) Can't find the thread at the moment, but here's the scripts someone shared with me for using the TM WH with BlackShark: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?8a68onspuhdyyb0
  16. This is the Black Shark forums. :music_whistling: heh
  17. Shift+F7 = Presicion TIR Shift+F9 = Pause TIR Shift+F12 = Recenter TIR NumPad 5 = Recenter in game view NumEnter = Recenter Zoom INCR/DECR Slider on Throttle = Zoom Axis Mic Switch Up = PTT
  18. Just install beta 2, and head over to the help forums to get your beta forum access squared away. Remember to use the same email for this forum account as you did when you purchased the game.
  19. There's a full install Beta 2 client available. No need to do beta 1 first anymore. :)
  20. Yeah, it's all shape based. Coolie hat switch looks like a coolie hat. Boat switch looks like a boat, China Hat looks like a Chinese building kind of.
  21. Wow, quite the difference from the ArmA 2 community. In that community people graciously share their missions to help everyone learn how to make better missions rather than jealously guarding whatever "secrets" might be in whatever mission. Protecting stuff like hand made models I can see, but a mission file/layout? Really?
  22. This shouldn't matter at all. If you place a unit on the map and another x distance away, it doesn't matter if that distance is measured in meters or yards it's the same distance away, the same point that it's at. As for speed, again it shouldn't matter at all. Any given speed is equal to whatever mph/kph/kts. The computer should be able to convert all of that in it's sleep, why should we have to as a mission designer? Set to whatever units you feel comfortable and leave the details to the computer. If you want 200 kts KIAS, set that and leave the whatever mph/kph and atmosphereic conversions to the birds. :) There's simply no justifiable reason not to have multiple values in the ME other than "We just didn't get around to it". It's really just a value display issue. There are no technical reasons for it that can't be solved.
  23. DCS: Montague aww yeah!
  24. Handles are metal edged with plastic, levers are plastic. It doesn't matter though, you need this HOTAS. :) Get it... geeeeeet iiiiiiitt!
