  1. Hi, After some searching through the forum it seems to me that the F-14 has a problem with the Thrustmaster Warthog throttle. Here is my current issue: I use a Winwing Orion 2 for throttle inputs but I still want to use the buttons of my warthog throttle. Whenever I delete the axis bindings of the warthog I get red exclamation marks for "rudder" and "throttle both" and my rudder axis stops working. I tried a lot of editing/copying/deleting/clearing/reloading old configs and all that jazz. Here is what worked for me, I left the axis (throttle left and right and zoom specifically, the standard axis for the warthog) as they are and added a 100% dead zone so they don't interfere. It seems to me the diff.lua for the warthog in the config/input folder for the f-14 is the culprit here. Something's not working right. This is an F-14-only problem, no other module I own has any issues like this. Kind regards, Booka42
  2. Thank you draconus, very interesting.
  3. Great idea, I'd love to. Where is this button though - can't see it. Also maybe some of you guys can elaborate - what is the technical explanation for this (the nozzle I mean :) )?
  4. That's amazing, thank you. Just what I hoped it would be. Mods can delete this thread and thanks lancecriminal.
  5. Hi, Don't know if it's a bug or some kind of feature but my F-14A spawned with one if the engine nozzles wide open. The instruments in cockpit also show this correctly This was Nevada map, SP and MT. Kind regards, Booka42 PS: By the way, the F-14 is not a simulated plane, it is a work of art - I really mean that. Even non-flight sim people are impressed by it. Thanks for all the hard work, it is really appreciated (but no often enough said out loud).
  6. Yes, please do! A CT would be amazing.
  7. Hi, I would suggest the excellent Chucks guide as a starting point: https://chucksguides.com/aircraft/dcs/mirage-f1/ If you like it also check out his patreon: https://www.patreon.com/chucksguides Kind regards, Booka42
  8. Hi, Maybe somebody can help me out, I'm getting the following errors at mission start-up, one for the IADS script and one for the splash script. After that the mission resumes normally: Any help would be very much appreciated, this script sounds awesome. Kind regards, Booka42
  9. Thanks @Bremspropeller and @Loukuins for your work, much appreciated. Here is some small stuff I shouldn't care about (but do). This is a screenshot of the canopy emergency handle near the cockpit of the F1: And this is more or less the same handle in the Mirage 2000 by RAZBAM: The RAZBAM one is a full 3D object with glass on top of it. Also, I really cannot unsee this texture: If you don't know what I mean, the grey texture just below the spoilers, it is really low res and ugly. Please add some 3D stuff here. The Mirage F1 is a 79,99$ module, which puts it into the same category as the Heatblur F-14, RAZBAM F-15E etc., this is the high fidelity category. I think we all know that the 3D model of the F1 is not on the same level (yet), so some constructive criticism is warranted here. I love this module and would buy it a second time if I could - just to support you guys. I also really appreciate that you guys listen and communicate. Kind Regards, Booka42
  10. Just my 2 cents: a +25 curve for my Thrustmaster TPR rudders really alleviated this matter for me. Big problem before.
  11. Thanks lee1hy. I also commented this in the file section - this skin is awesome. Could you also provide a version with changeable nose/tail numbers or maybe a template? I would love to personalize this skin a little. Keep it going, you are awesome! Best regards, Booka42
  12. Hi, This plane is awesome, still figuring some stuff out though. I found some interesting animations in the .lua, is there any way to stow/unstow the pilot ladder and open/close the service hatches? Best regards, Booka42 Edit: I also saw in a video the clock in the left side of the cockpit moving back and forth, I can't see how this is accomplished.
  13. Another update, doing it the other way around by clicking the clock with the mouse will also execute the trim. This is definitely not on my end. I can make a video if that helps. Kind regards, Booka42
  14. Thank you for your answer, I already did that. It might be helpful if you could try to replicate it on your end. Just watch the clock while you use the trim buttons. Kind regards, Booka42
