Thank you Teka very much for helping out. If I recall one or two skins were default 1024 size in the cdds. Since I have limited skill in paintshop pro, I cannot do hi res skins as yet. So I have to follow the default route, but I will have a look again. Many kind words from you all but as I have stated, please remember the REAL artists in this...The ED artists. Mizzy

TEC I will upload them anyway so anyone can use them but if you do a Modman install, just let everyone know and we see if we can upload it at Thomas site lockonfiles. Just packaging it up now for upload to rapidshare and i will let you all know where they are. I have got thefile down to 90 meg using dds compression. I am going to be busy until late tonite so it won't be until later I upload them. Thank you TEC and everyone else, I really think these are worth the hassle. They are my best art I have ever done. Oh yes Brum, I like a cider now and again, but it makes me giddy! Apologies for not uploading the files for the Mig29, this is because there are many problems with the Modman install process. The main problem being that some files are duplicated and with the same name in other cdds files. I simply cannot work out how to use Modman with the Mig29 files as there are 42 files for all the Mig29s. Some install with no problem, others don't :( So I will have to upload the files as they are and the end user will have to do what I do, install them using the cdds editor ;) Nothing more I can do sorry. Here are some more screenies as i think they will be worth the download and the pain in the arse install. Mizzy

Yes Brit, the orange brown smoke is a side effect I think. The trouble was that the explosion bmp files were cross referenced with other effects thus I found that replacing all the bmps caused oddities elswhere in the programme. There is no way as yet to extend the effects of ground vehicles and aircraft explosion effects as they appear with the ships. I have asked ED to give me some direction to this but I would have thought that issue was not a major thing to do if any extra coding was necessary. As yet I have not been given any guidance on this, but ED are so busy and this is a mod thing, I can understand why they have no time to devote to this graphic effect. I will keep on at them though, in a unobtrusive way of course! Mizzy

Dear FC/ED simulation fans, I present the Mig29a collection. They are as realistic as my eyes percieve the real world (light and shade, contrast etc.) I think they now look like they have been in the air and seen a bit of action. I shall upload (somewhere) this weekend and the are ready to kick some F16 butt :) I have still no word about the original author of the Su17 so cannot do anything with that beautiful skin until permission is given. Yes a 'girl' indeed, a 42 year old girl LOL. I have only uploaded artwork that does not interfere with other sim-mod/loman work as some of my work unfortunately overwrites some very good mods. Im back at work now so I don't have the time I had last year when I was made redundant from my job, however I will make use of my spare time with LOFC and BS. Here are some retextures with new weather layers for the Mig29a. They are not finished as the effect is a little over the top but WIP ;) Mizzy

Firstly great news and vid. Secondly, there is plenty of mileage in FC yet!! And its the best survey sim out there, even if its medium detail. Oh don't forget we have the best air combat FM as well. That about it. Mizzy
