  1. You forgot about the Ka-50 Rotorheads. In fact the Ka-50 plays the game alone in LockOn MP...nobody down there to bother you. The Ka-50 and AT-802U wold share the same airspace and mission profile stirring things up a bit.
  2. When there is a market for this kind of aircraft, and there is, than there will also be a market for a DLC around it.
  3. I would buy a AT-802U module over any other if just someone would do it right...im actually not interested in another A-10 , F15E, F-16 or another AH-64 Sim. I played those more than 10 Years ago for a long, long time...I Want something distinctive different. This modern Shturmovik looks appealing,.
  4. I like the concept, this kind of aircraft can perform Attack Chopper duties at a much lower cost. It is the true IL-2 Sturmovik of the 21. Centruy and a Sim around it could be very interesting.
  5. A Beechcraft C-12 Huron would be nice as flyable. Military Sims often simply miss a flyable Liason aircraft that could act as twin engine trainer too.
  6. My very first Flight Sim was DID TFX followed by DID Super EF2000.
  7. No, BIS has it's own engine The game wil use something based on the real virtuality engine developed for moren than 10 Years now. The fact that physics are taken out in favor for large Battlefields in ArmA does niot mean the engien can't do it...and terrain in RV looks better and more lifelike as in Outerra. However..The first DLC for the game will be about Zombies anyway... :D "http://www.youtube.com/embed/sPcvFOE4OeE"
  8. I guess everyone mises the crimea...and it was the only ukrainian ground we had in the sim making a more believable NATO presence there. The kerch strait made a very good frontline.
  9. As far as I know Bohemia Interactive, the creator of the famous ArmA series is still in business and they have no problem patching games 3 year's after relase. And keep in mind...FC2 was released as a new box just 1 year ago. A bit to young to go abandonedware. BIS once said that every patch is a step to the next engine version, so they put in engine improvements, not contents, from the latest version into the older version as long as it fits. It is 2011 and the F-15 air intakes still don't work right even after 8 years.
  10. If you consider the X-52 get the PRO...its better manufactured and much more precise and takes less wear...it is also stiffer. I had the X-52 first...it did only last two years of daly use till it made trouble. Get the Pro Pedals too...its worth it and you can get a full HOTAS setup with Pedals for less than 350€ My next HOTAS will be the X-65, but until the X-52 is still perfoming well for two years now.
  11. There is no DCS without a compatibility. As far as I know I always considered the DCS Idea like a base engine you can buy compatible modules that can interact in a online enviroment... if this concept goes into to the bin now the idea and DCS is dead and I can go back to ArmA II where they managed this but with a low and generic simulation level. No online compatibility - no DCS - no more need to buy it. And it wold be still a shame to leave the first two AFM aircraft in the series behind.
  12. I fear a update of DCS:BS will make an end to FC2+BS Multiplayer missions. It's the two Su-25 variants that will be missed most in a overhauled DCS without FC2.
  13. This happens to me when I was 13 on a trip in a single engine Piper from Germany to Jugoslavia. Somewhere over the alps at 12.000 feet I got very, very tired...it turned out later my oxigen mask did not work. The altitude was mandatory due to clouds and only VFR equipment.
  14. Antonov AN-2 with Cargo- and Paratrooper Modules. Enjoy to fly a ancient Biplane in a modern Battlefield...fly slow, fly low and deliver your cargo in Time....alternative...DCS Mil Mi-8 Multi Role Support Helicopter.
  15. I use the old trim again and have the trim button on the "pinky switch" on a Saitek X52...for manouvering I simply press it with my little Finger and hold it...I release it when im done manouvering...and all is fine for me. I cant work with the new trim system at all.
