  1. You can model that very easy in MUltiplayer. jzst delete a few F-15 slots and add more Su-27 slots...there is still tzhe option to have BLUFOR Su-27. The current USAF F-15 vs. IDF F-15 is a bit weary for much to long. Also, just give a mission much more CAS slots than figter slots problem solved. Its the missions for MP public that make everything 1:1 not the sim itself. And to add to this...Helos are no primary opponet for CAP aircraft....if a mission is flown somewhat in a reasonable manner it should be Su-25 and A-10 that run into helicopters and the one or the other low level MiG-21 on a bombing run.

    DCS Xwing

That sea spray effect is missing for current aircraft, is this a feature of DCS 2.0 and EDGE? ;)
  4. make sure the checkmark for allied filght radio messages is checked on in options. And indeed it can get annoying in A.I. rich missions and even in slot heavy MP missions.
  5. Software is liek wine. its get better when it grows older. It is purchased best at 50% discount when it is out of "beta". Im's done with buying anything that is labeld "beta" and I pursue this policy not only in regards to DCS. I want to spend the few hours a week I can spare for actually enjoying a final product not for testing half baked beta versions.
  6. More fuel will not change anything, The Su-27 currently will takeoff easily and cruise around 660 IAS @ 4000m at 80% even with full fuel and ECM pods. It must not be mentioned that this is not the only problem with current beta FM for Auerobatis...the other one is the sudden and hard to recover negative AoA departure.
  7. Su-27 is still beta, like the F-15C, F-86F, Mi-8MTV and every other thing that sports a [beta]in it's name in the e-shop.
  8. The brake chute does not get replenished when rearm and refuel option in communication is used. Additionally blow tyres do not get repaired unless there is other significant damage to the airplane. Happens in SP and MP. also with newest update.
  9. Well, I noticed that the problem started the same day the EU sanctions began. Last Working payment for me was in June 2014. http://rt.com/business/177088-eu-sanctions-banks-sberbank/
  10. Only the first batch of test aircraft Su-27A had a lever, the one in DCS is Su-27S.
  11. And it was supposed to be fixed according to readme of last update.
  12. I don't see the problem. Boing now also holds the royalty rights for the F-15 Eagle and that is already a DCS module. same goes for Boing AH-64 Apache. I remeber Boing sueing Electronics Arts for using the AH-64 Apache in Battlefield(x) and a judge came to the conclusion that the designations that the US armed forced give their weapon systems are public domain. AH-64 = Public domain Boeing AH-64 Apache = Royalty to Boeing.
  13. It's not a bug, its a feature and it's there for a long time on the Su-25(t) There is nothing stopping you from doing this in an real aircraft that is not full of nanny systems belitteling the pilot. The only way to avoid it is not to use the gear lever. What really helps to hit g by acident is to unbind it from the keyboard and put it on the gear lever of something like the saitek switch panel. In fact the feature is usefull in an emergency since you can stop a plane on the belly better than one without brakes when you run out of runway. (exactly this procedure is recommended in the FC1,2,3 Su-25 manual) btw: he same goes for the braking chute.
  14. One usefull improvement would be a posibility to scale the hud down. In most FC3 plans you can onyl the the full HUD if you position your virtual head right above the dashboard...it's worst in the A-10A. At least a scaling option in the menu would help, it does not have to be scalable in game.
  15. Yes it's useless in a modern scenario as well as P-51 and Fw-190. And thats why no modern airforce is flying MiG-21 MiG-15, Sabres or Hawks in a Combat role. So why would someone want to do so in a Digital Combat Simulation. You could as well just fly a Boing 777.
  16. The Su-27 for DCS is a typical example of what you can call a rushed release. We can just hope it receives some fixes till Saturday.
  17. I've stopped any spending after FC3 for three simple reasons. 1. FC3 turned out to be bug ridden even for planes that were out since FC1 2. Fist I want to see how well EDGE works. 3. Im tired of buying the same stuff all over again. See DCS BlackShark.
  18. The linked documentary definately states that only pro production types had a braking lever and after testing the toe braks the chief test pilot said "dont change anything you made it better". That means all production Su-27 had braking paddels and the su-27S is NOT a pre-production prototype.
  19. Visible Pilot body is already an Option in the option menu, works or most of the "true" single DCS modules
  20. Maybe it's build by someone else but it still lives in the same DCS world., hece the call fpr more consistency in that DCS world. Otherwise you state it jst o.k. that every developer creates its own laws of physics for evey single module. in that case we are very close to the realm of UFOs known from other sims with double and triple standards fpr FMs
  21. Additionally such manual figures always contain some safety range multiplyer, at least 15% until something harmfull really occurs. See the F-15 again...no damage too extended gear even at 700km/h...DCS really needs more consistency in that regard beetween the different aircraft.
  22. You can also deploy the brake cxhute in the two su-25 in DCS...but you simply don't do it unless on the ground at less then 300km/h. You can slso retract gear on the ground but you simply don't do it unless for a good reason. Unlike western aircraft that have everything augmented you have to use reasonig in russian aircraft, simply do not do stupid things on purpose...it will not forgive...
  23. I have recently seen a lot of videosof Su-27 and Su-30 taking off and climbing without the use of Afterburner. Since the engines have a lot of dry thrust and the AB if very thirsty that makes sense now, but nervertheless, even the su-25 in game has a less capricious under carriage and that oen on the F-15 can only be damaged by actions that must be accounted as a crash in RL.
