  1. Hi, Thank you for your message. It's a hard one but at least when tested last time it wasn't impossible. I'm also not aware with new DCS bugs but I'll take a look into the mission. You can always skip a mission in the campaign menu at mission start.
  2. Checked that. There is a wrong date as you said. Don't know how I have made it as I only have template for right one. I'll fix it.
  3. I checked that trigger for text instructions should be ok and I'm getting it. Text should stay for 15 minutes or until landing, until spacebar is pressed. It of course still can be missed. If you are playing this mission again and there is no text for you after Queens command to switch to Marshal or someone else has the same problem please report me.
  4. Hi again, There should be a text commanding to contact marshal via dcs communication menu. I'check if there is a problem with that
  5. Thanks. Should be like you said. Thanks for feedback.
  6. Fortunately with time acceleration you can skip them in tens of seconds. DCS campaign structure is a bit inflexible so it is possible that it won't be possible to make them totally skippable. I'll still look for options. In addition to briefings the intros and afterword scenes also have sections that drive the story so when playing missions for first time it is recommended to some extent to watch those too.
  7. Actually, I can't set F10 menu or PRESS SPACEBAR command to skip the intro because both need a player in the mission and in intro there isn't. I'll check if the skip option could be done via campaign structure.
  8. Hi, Thank you for your message. At the moment you can't skip them. You just can use time acceleration. But it would be a good idea to make skipping option to F10 menu. I'll do that but it will of course take some time to get it released.
  9. Hi, Thank you for your feedback. If you are using custom communication unfortunately you won't get graded by LSO. In real life as a wingman you wouldn't contact the carrier but you would still get your grade. Unfortunately a compromise had to be done as this is not possible in DCS. There are some missions where you will fly recovery without your flight lead and you will be instructed to contact the carrier via communication menu. In those cases you will be graded. You can contact the carrier via communication menu if you like. Carrier build-in communication frequency is 127.5 in all missions but mission 2 (in mission 2 it's 301.0 for a reason I don't even remember). It might cause your flight lead to be ordered to holding pattern until you have landed but you should be graded.
  10. Hi, ED somehow left them out from the release so at the moment they can be downloaded from this topic https://forum.dcs.world/topic/350728-campaign-documentation/#comment-5452303 They should become normally available in the next update and will be found behind usual path "program files/Eagle Dynamics/DCS World/Mods/campaigns/FA-18C Operation Mountain Breeze/Doc"
  11. Hi, You are absolutely right about headings to fly. It still doesn't change the fact that VOR/TACAN radial is independent from aircrafts heading. If you fly radial inbound radial 253 with your TO flag on you need to fly heading 073 (if there is no wind) but you are still on radial 253 not 073. If you then overfly the station you'll be flying outbound radial 073 with FROM flag. If you turn 180 degrees you'll fly inbound radial 073 even if your heading is 253. That is just because of the definition of radial which is bearing from the station. The Bearing from the station doesn't change with the heading aircraft is flying. Here is one video explaining that maybe better than I do
  12. Hi, Thank you for your message. Actually, VOR/TACAN radial is always the magnetic heading away from the station and is not dependent on heading you are flying. You can fly the radial towards the station (inbound) or away from the station (outbound). You may fly any heading but radial is still the magnetic heading from the station. If you are flying inbound radial 253, you need to fly magnetic heading 073, wind corrected of course (magnetic track). In this arrival chart fix MEZUS is located on AKR radial 253 48,3 nm DME distance. ATC instructions for DME arc arrival are given with radial and command to fly inbound or outbound. Heading to fly is only used by ATC when under radar control and then wind correction is also made by ATC. Hope you landed safely
  13. At the end of the mission after debriefingn there should be a text commanding to press spacebar to start the afterword scene. Did you do that or did you exit the mission after debriefing?
  14. Hi, Thanks for report. Please tell me what happened. If you use tacview mission file would help a lot.
  15. The carrier seems to spawn normally for me. I suppose you have Super Carrier module installed but are you using any unofficial mods. They can cause weird things to happen like ships not spawning. Here is a topic about it Mission 1, Instant Crash - DCS: F/A-18C Flaming Sunrise Campaign - ED Forums Unfortunately AI flight behavior is what it is and they do accelerations usually with full burners and slow down with speed brake open. It is bit hard to follow lead sometimes but don't take the flight lead's criticism too hard. They are just a bit demanding. There is a topic about AI flight lead thing. 16. Thanks for your report. At least it wasn't broken a week ago but I'll take a look asap.
  17. Now also on Steam https://store.steampowered.com/app/2982450/DCS_FA18C_Operation_Mountain_Breeze_by_Sandman_Simulations/
  18. Hi, Thank you for your feedback. I know exactly what you mean. The same issue occurs when you're approaching a tanker or carrier and trying to stay on the lead's wing. The AI might throttle up towards the tanker with full afterburner and then open the air brakes shortly after. Unfortunately, there's not much that can be done about this. When the AI is performing its assigned task, such as descending or approaching the tanker, it shows little interest in following the given speed commands. As you get used to the flight lead's way of flying, you'll learn to anticipate speed changes, making it a bit easier to stay on the wing. However, no mission will fail just because the flight lead is dissatisfied with your performance. Don't take the flight lead's criticism too hard. You'll hear it a few more times throughout the campaign. Achieving a perfect performance without criticism is tough due to the AI lead's flying style. The aim is more to motivate the player to fly as well as possible.
  19. Hi, It should become available on Steam too but there can be some delay. I'll check from ED.
  20. I got confirmation from ED too. They have the documentation but somehow it's not included in published version. Until they get it out please download the documentation from my message above.
  21. Hi, Thank you all for very fast feedback. All documentation has been submitted to ED but it seems you are right. I can't find them either. Until ED gets them out I'll share documentation here. All documentation except Campaign Guide are also included in game. 22. DCS: F/A-18C Hornet Campaign - Operation Mountain Breeze Official Trailer In the fall of 2015, the battles of the Syrian Civil War between the rebels and the Syrian government forces continue intensely. The involvement of several foreign powers, ISIS, and Hezbollah in the conflicts further escalates tensions. The tension among major superpowers is also on the rise. However, civilians suffer the most. Millions have been forced to leave their destroyed homes. Civilian targets are constantly under bombardment. The USS Theodore Roosevelt, with its Strike Group, is on its way to the region with the aim of establishing a no-fly zone over the western parts of Syria to prevent attacks on civilians. You'll receive detailed mission briefings with charts and kneeboards accessible both in-game and as PDFs. Briefings are presented for pilots in detail by the squadron skipper and flight lead in in-game mission briefings. Performance-based feedback will be provided after each mission. Voice-overs by great actors and narrative elements between missions enhance the immersion, creating a compelling and varied experience. You get to show your skills as a Hornet pilot in diverse missions. Dogfights, close air support, SEAD, and strike missions will put your skills to the test. This is your first cruise, and the Skipper has high expectations for you. Hopefully, you can meet them. Check out a bit longer introduction video about the campaign:
  23. Hi, Checked that. ICLS 11 as stated in kneeboard should be active in all missions.
  24. Hi, Thank you for your message. ICLS frequency is marked on kneeboad card but I need to say I haven't tested those for some time. I'll do it today.
