This is my testing view, most demanding place everywhere in DCS World (Marianas not count) In last build i got 59FPS, now 45FPS. Some counters in top left corner seems not working, or something is wrong. @lefuneste01 GI Global Illumination i think, but in my case did not change anything

Personaly for me DCS best performs on archaic 442.19, but still unplayable.

Well, changing visibility to medium, and trees below 100% on 1080p flatscreen is going too far for me, i don't take it into account.
-
You can stop trying guys, i already tried everything from today morning till dusk, every option, every driver, everything...
-
I tried both, water to low and grass off, nothing changes, still got slideshow. GTX1080 usage near 100% all time, on previous builds 70%, 100% over Incirlik, and FPS drop to 59 FPS (only over Incirlik and Damascus). From yesterday 59 FPS i can reach over plain desert in the middle of nowhere.

What i also noticed, now grass moving on wind, maybye this is an issue? But i need grass badly, because i flying helis now, i'll check it tomorrow...

Previous build works fine to me, 60 fps everywhere (Syria, PG, Caucasus). Now sometimes got even 40, even on caucasus i have drops, completly unplayable, i'm on win 10.
-
Always did

Someone else noticed this, or it's only my problem? I lost average 7-10 FPS after today's patch. My end: i74790K, 16GB, GTX 1080, 1080p flatscreen.

Only mod i have is Caucasus trees, rest is clean install. It is possible trees mod can cause such lightning bugs? Before this update i also used tree mod. -

Few spare rotorblades they have on board... -
Perhaps the creators afraid that a Cold War map in Marianas quality would be too demanding for modern computers. So ... even a Cold War map in Caucasus quality would be better than no Cold War map.

Make the Petrovich cursor (as seen from the pilot) customizable

You can disable boxes in mission editor and leave only crosshair, but yes, crosshair itself is too big. For me only small dot will be good. +1

I don't know how to explain it, but after the change terrain textures to low, then back to high, i got my FPS back to normal, maybye this helps someone.
-
Maybye some of hind texture were updated, or LOD changed?

After yesterday patch i lost 10 FPS in situation presented on screenshot 51FPS, sometimes drop to 48 (always got 60FPS) Theres some hinds on parking lots, not visible because task manager. Where bottleneck is? Any ideas?

@FlappieEverything is turned up, otherwise I wouldn't have played DCS, there was no problem until yesterday. When I run DCS and run the mission, no problem. When I exit the mission and restart it without restarting DCS, worse frames appear immediately at the start of the mission, and when I do a stress test by moving the camera quickly around big cities CTD occur.
-
If it helps, game crashes twice, always after second load of mission. dcs.log-20210721-210714.zip

For now it's only possible from F4 viev, and navigate by RCtrl + RShift + Numpad arrows, and * / to sit as passenger. Don't know how to save view...
