And set it to minimum, avionics will be cooled same as max, but for pilot inlets get less air, and much quieter.

If it's realistic, it should stay as is, eventually option in special options should be added. It drives me mad too, but that's why we fly in DCS, for realism. I'll get used to the sound after a week i think.
-
Unfortunately, I have to agree, and start getting used to the sound, although I have flashbacks with it as my woman dries her hair for half an hour.
-
There should be an option in the special options to decrease volume of this thing, because it drives me crazy too.

I am not interested in the role of the WSO, I have already unbinded the switch cockpits buttons, is it possible to bring the machine to full readiness from the pilot's position, including CMWS?
-
Thanks, it worked.

How to open technical hatches under cockpit?

From what I'm testing the AI version already available in this patch, a typical small warhead kill looks like this: Striela hits the rear part of airframe, front of the plane is damaged, pilot dies, WSO jumps. I will add that this is not an excessive wish, because it is enough to change one line for the crew to survive a hit in the rear of the machine, not only the WSO. it should look more like an F-14, but so far it's worse than "instagib" in F-16. I hope I'm wrong and this AI version has nothing to do with the one that comes out... EDIT: AMRAAM expolsion at back part of airplane looks much better, both crew members was able to bail out, good job RAZBAM on this! That's much better than F-16. But AIM-9X kills pilot, WSO jumps out... Tested many times same scenario so the results are reproducible.

From almost every missile You will die, 8/10 small missiles exploding even near engine will kill pilot.

Binding it on keyboard just work as IC command to WSO to switch button, much more realistic than climbing into his seat.
-
I hope that it will be possible to independently perform the full startup procedure from the front seat only, without moving to the backseat to flip the few switches that the WSO needs to switch. By that I mean maybe they will be assignable on the keyboard in the F-15E Pilot section. I should put this in the wishlist section as it's not realistic for me to switch seats in flight.

There's Ace Combat 7 now on Steam sale, for 10 USD, it had some inaccuraties in FM, DM, Model, and terrain, but it's for 10 USD, so You can fully enjoy it -

Compared to other maps, lighting on Normandy renders even closer than Nevada, for example. It looks bad, I'm navigating airport lights at night because their lighting renders from a good distance. Flying at 18k feet at night, I can't see cities. Full details except SSAA, date set to year 47. I am posting a photo of paris from 22k ft. and Saint Andre de leure.

In one of the last newsletters we saw the creator ticking photos of the cockpit, so they are just doing it. BTW, I hope I'm wrong.
-
No, it won't. There is not even a cockpit done, if there was, some pictures would have already leaked. Still a long way to go...
-
This sudden death is not related to the mission, report it to AH-64 bugs and problems, I had this once in nevada, in the free flight. I thought something broke once. Do You have "random system failures" and "birds" enabled?
-
i'll bet F-15, remember this post guys... We starting some kind of gambling here, we still need a cashier, and we can raise bets.

I know trees are colidable sience 1.5, i mean colissions on warbirds at normandy are more realistic now, earlier when You touch tree you exploded immediatelly. Now collisions look more "soft", You breaking airframe, but don't explode, and this is good.
-
Just try fall into the forrest with low speed with Bf-109, i don't know it is new, because don't fly WWII too much last times, but looks more like Il2 collision model with trees, they slow you down, damaging airframe, and it's really nice! You can survive meeting with forrest, if Your speed is low enough. Good job, it's really nice, and quiet realistic.

I fly on Ravcore Javelin, with twisted rudder, and i think flying Apache is extremely easy when You fly couple of hours, maybye even too easy comparable to real bird. I just think that in DCS after 200-300 hours of flight you start to get to perfection, and in real life it's probably not so much. You also say: "I wish for a realistic flight model but not at the expense of playability." Maybe game mode will work? Sim should have as close as possible to the real flight model.

I'll bet Normandy 2, unfortunately for me...
