  1. I'm looking forward to the first battlefield style Rb 05A AA kill compilation video. :joystick:
  2. They would have to since the weapons they use in the AJS upgrade uses said standard. The AJS upgrade was done specifically for it to be able to carry weapons designed for the Gripen system.
  3. I found a writeup on the different variations of base organisations we have had through the century. http://www.x-plane.org/home/urf/aviation/text/bas/dispersed_basing.html
  4. Let them focus on getting a beta out the door first. xD
  5. The "O-Base" is the standard peacetime base so yes in the F6 case it would be Karlsborg. I would assume that all of the available aircraft on the base would be dispersed to different war-bases and/or road bases, since the location of the peacetime bases are well known to the enemy it would be a terribly bad idea to leave any hardware behind. :-)
  6. It also helps when the music is set at a vey low volume. :-)
  7. You're gonna have one heck of a christmas eve on the 27th then.
  8. Nope, but since this is a pre-release version there's bound to be some bugs, and to me this looks like a minor one. :-)
  9. Looks like you screwed up the formating for the video. :-) This is how you should do it: [ YOUTUBE ]N-1_5cpfBGs[ /YOUTUBE ] (Without the spaces) Looking forward to the video series! :D
  10. Ralfidude - DCS AJS 37 Viggen strike package Nice flying Ralfi! :D
  11. [Youtube]KJvWeiOs07M
  12. I was never worried but I'm still very happy to hear this! :D
  13. The real Viggen pilots did over 1000 shots in the simulator before they got the chance to do it for real, and the first live missile they fired wasn't even a Rb 05A but a slower (and cheaper) similar missile. Practice makes perfect. :P
  14. Well, it was the most powerfull engine fitted to a fighter at the time, so that engine is no joke. :P
  15. We've always been way ahead of the Americans with aircraft matching the F-35JSF as early i as the 60s [emoji23]
  16. Great to hear, no doubt he will go in depth as usual! :D
  17. Well, i guess it depends on how one sees it. They chose to use star-force DRM which is widely disliked in the gaming community because of problems just like this. I'm surprised we have as little problems as we have considering it's reputation. :P No matter! LNS claims we will have no such trouble with the Viggen and thats all the good news i need! :D
  18. Like, literally. :D
  19. Looks really good Cobra! :D
  20. Well, we (a country of about 8-9 million) preparared for an invasion from the soviet union, thats probably as close to the "the worst" one can imagine. :P
  21. "Olive drab" green has never indicated inert as far as i know. An olive drab color is solely used for camouflage and what you should be looking at is the yellow band that identifies it as a live weapon, just like the pansarskott (AT4) being green and black with a coloured band that signifies it's status as a training weapon (blue) or a live weapon (yellow). Source: I did my repmånad just two months ago and stuff like this is apparently important to remember. :D
  22. I'm pretty sure you can yes. That info should be somewhere in the WIP manual. I haven't gotten that far into it myself yet though. :book: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=180252
  23. They mentioned somewhere (reddit AMA maybe?) that they would do all in their power to avoid the problems that plagued the Fishbeds DRM system. :-)
  24. The RB 75 you are referring to was more like a camo green with a yellow band though, if it was inert it would be painted in a green that was a lot more vivid. Just like on the AT4 (pansarskott), they are kind of a dark camo green with only a coloured ring to differentiate between the live (yellow band) and the training weapons (Blue band). It would surprise me if it were any different on the Viggen. :-)
  25. I see no reason why a function like that would not be included. It doesn't seem like something that would be terribly hard to program compared to a lot of the other a lot more complicated functionality of the AJS 37. :P If they take the time to put it in the manual it will definitely be simulated in DCS, they have no reason to include information that doesn't apply to the sim, that would be pointless work. :-)
