  1. Yea, they may be shit, but not that shit! :P
  2. All correct. As you say there is no way to ground stabilize (lock on the ground) as you can I the A-10, so if it's locked that's because it found what looks like a target, and just like in the A-10 it will only lock a target if it's in range.
  3. Nope, no luck! But I have to admit that my takeoffs are kinda shit. XD
  4. Haha! Sorry about that Ren! XD
  5. RB-04 employment without any Nav data? The Rb 04 doesn't need any info from the aircraft at all. All you need to do is point the aircraft at the target within 35km and below 500 meters and the missile will autonomously select it's target within its search area. No need for any waypoints or radar fixes at all. The more modern Rb 15F is another story. :-)
  6. The Viggen currently use the default external sounds, they will be adding custom (better) external sounds later. Apparently adding external sounds is something ED has to help them with.
  7. Anti-Ship + Mav's The Viggen can only carry one type of AG weapon at a time, it's a limitation of the old 60s computer. :-) (not a bug)
  8. Not gonna happen, possibly as an AI but not as a flyable dcs level module. It has as stated above classified equipment and is more or less a completely different airframe so it would need just much time to develop as the AJS did 4-5 years. They have mentioned that they might ad the JA as an AI, but they have not begun work on that.
  9. That really should be restricted when selecting load out, to prevent confusions like this. I guess that might be in the works already. :P
  10. IT'S HAPPENING! :pilotfly:
  11. That's a very SAAB way of doing it i may say so myself.
  12. What about it? It has nothing to do with the Viggen that's for sure. :P
  13. The update isn't released yet...
  14. Good to know! :-)
  15. Since the Viggen will bring with it some new functionality in the mission editor and other places it makes sense to first release this update as a beta in a separate branch. The Viggen itself is also in early access so to me it makes sense to release it for the beta branch first (i know some people do no agree with me on this...) The beta client is rarely more unstable than the "stable" release is. You can easily convert your current stable release to the open beta branch without downloading any additional files. Instructions can be found in several places earlier in this thread. People are really making a bigger deal out of this than it really is.
  16. Today is the day we've been waiting for boys! :joystick:
  17. Yes it's the only airworthy viggen and is operated by a Swedish non profit organisation comprised of old air force mechanics and pilots. :)
  18. Haha, well, the SAAB automotive branch really didn't have much in common with the aircraft manufacturer other than the brand, even back then. :P The Viggen was very reliable. :-)
  19. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=181465 Edit: And yes, the spit should work.
  20. Here you go! :P
  21. Since this is a Swedish aircraft i would like to claim that it is probably caused by a lack of coffee, and not an excess. :P
  22. Not the version were getting, this is the attack variant. The fighter might have a chance but the AJS doesn't.
  23. Probably a new AI model since the current one is quite dated. :-)
  24. The way it is in the preview videos is not how it will look in the final build. As far as i have understood you should be able to use the sight from a rested position, and not have to lean to the side as they need to do in the preview build being shown on YouTube.
  25. The interceptor variant was more or less a completely different aircraft, including the HUD symbology. :-)
