I've noticed that I can not just select Lima in any situation from the front seat. It just won't let me. I have however been able to after some fiddling/selecting FCR or whatnot. Selecting FCR seem to change to RF if i remember correctly. But I have no clue what the prerequisites are..

I don't know, but it does anyway. (How else would it change target after a kill?) One just have to wait until it changes state from damaged to destroyed.

Things that took me over the top, and rid me of almost all frustrations: -Power management mode in nVidia controlpanel to Max performance and Low latence mode to ultra. -Going from 3080Ti to 4090ti with 24Gb vram -The release of 2.9 with the nvidia DLSS Beware of the placebo settings that do nothing. If you want to experiment, use in-game settings

I understood there is some target prioritization going on.. It does not transfer to the Limas?

I've done that a lot with Reaper drone as JTAC, lasing target (which is great fun). By the time I get to "In from the east" on the first target, I would have 16 hellfires in the air with the radar.

I'm so looking forward to this. It is itching my patience in a good way, as it is not to far away. One of the benefits is the ability to fire from cover. Curious/anxious about AI wingmen and their ability to stay behind cover, though. "Two: I'm hit!"

I guess they are correct, but during the Jane's Longbow days the strategy was to sneak up close and hide behind cover with only the radar dome over the top; "Bob up"

It took me some wasted patience and confused searches to realize that there are no proper Iraq War; "desert storm" scanarios/missions/campaigns. I still can not understand why this opportunity is not seized by anyone, and I'm baffled. If I were boss, I'd ask some tough questions in my office. Like "are we missing a huge income possibility over here? Are we missing a huge customer segment?" DCS without Iraq war/desert storm is like F1 without Monaco, Spa Francorchamps AND Monza.

After recent update on stable version, I copied a mission project (worked on in beta) and play it on stable. But now I can not re arm on that same farp, because I get no response on 127.5 AM. This is with Gazelle "M" Why o why is that?

It now appears in stable version as well. As it did not "make it" to the former update, not the quick fix, and did not even make it to todays update, I fear we will have to deal with this epilepsytrigger for a loong time. Being so intrusive, it is a grave and unacceptable malfunction.

If we at least could command a lower minimum speed than 40 knots. I figure it would be manageable to command 10 knots.

This also goes for the F-14. Even on SC. And I just saw it in the UH-60L mod I guess it goes for all aircraft now.

Yes. I only connect that drive when I need to use it, and not DCS'ing.

FYI: I have since found another culprit: An external USB disk "WD book" does weird stuff to all USB devices; Thrustmaster throttle blinking, mouse having intermittent contact etc.. Turns out this USB drive was causing problems when connected, due to its onboard outdated/discontinued software.

I tried "Visib range" to ultra, and it did some good things for distant clouds. Has some impact on performance though, and not every rig can "afford" it.
