  1. After update, my "XR neck saver" (program for easy checking 6) does not work any more. I will try to update it, but would like to know if others have same problem?
  2. Have you try to set HAGS off? check internet for how to.
  3. No double vision for me, and no need for paralel projections. Disable foveated rendering in OpenXR toolkit, that is currently broken for dcs (untill DCS and OpenXR toolkit update that). Also be sure to disable OpenXR toolkit zoom - that will sure make double vision. ps: I use latest pitool ps2: check if you really have latest Openxr toolkit, and OpenXR for pimax. Uninstall old, and reinstall new.
  4. It is not only gpu question, but hmd also. I.e. Pimax latest models officialy do not support amd cards, but really they mostly work except some features. Varjo Aero also, as I heard. Check it with guys which have your hmd.
  5. Take a look here, you are not alone. Unfortunately there is not exactly the same, people solve it differently, every case is unique. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/312876-computer-shuts-down-after-about-30-minutes-of-dcs/page/3/#comment-5101486
  6. Disable overclocking if you use it, that helped me. Fully disable.
  7. Without overclocking I was able to play lately. I will not touch anything anymore while it works
  8. When works, yes, I do use Afterburner overclock. But I have restarts sometimes without OC at all. Before summer everything was working reliable with OC.
  9. No, I can not provoke my issue with Kombustor. Maybe because of my 1080p monitor, it can not stress it enough. As I said, the restarts comes in DCS, and not often in other games. It happens mostly when I enter full mp server, with many players and with heavy rain, and usually when I select team, aircraft, and clict to spawn my plane - then 50% of time is restart. Other 50% are really in mid flight. PS: CPU thermal paste reapplied 15 days ago.
  10. MBO ASUS ROG STRIX H370-F GAMING CPU i7-8700k RAM 32gb ddr-4 (2666MHz max because of MBO, but sticks are 3000) NVIDIA NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 PSU Bequiet straight power 11, 850W 2x ssd win10 VR Pimax 8kx Up to few months ago I had no problems except occasionaly wih Pimax vr, then I changed GPU to 3090, and emediatelly PSU (old was 600w, new 850). Then came summer, and I got thermal problems occasionaly. After summer I still have problems, shutdowns and restarts in mid game, mostly in DCS, sometimes IL-2 and other games. I can not replicate that restart with benchmarking tools, not even with OCCT, and OCCT brings my CPU to 100C (in gaming it is 80-82C). PSU is my suspect. I have 2 cables to my GPU, from 2 rails. It suppose to work, but... And then everything works again 1-2 days, without restarts, and I am then mad, do not know what to do.
  11. Today Nvidia has update, try it. As I have similar problems like you (restart in mid game), and after 1-2 months of going trough internet and trying to solve it, I wish that we booth solve our problems with driver update At my rig it is inconsistent, I can play 2 days, and then 1 day not. Then again I can play 3 hours with overclock, and next day again restarts even with undervolting my GPU. And I checked everything possible (temps and cooling, cables reseating, disks, win system, game, drivers, ram, bios xps and without, overclock and opposite... Next I will send my psu back to Bequiet for checking. If that is not it, I have to buy new components, 1 by 1...). I will follow this tread, and wish us booth luck with it.
  12. All vr headsets can use fixed goveated. 20+ % on gpu reduced.
  13. +1 Pimax user, large fov needs foveated rendering, it is a future.
  14. I tried OpenXR, and everything works in DCS except horizontal offset for foveated rendering. As with canted displays (Pimax) the foveated is in wrong spot. I remmember similar problem with steamvr, and fholgers openvr_fsr/perfkit in DCS and IL2 - unfortunately that issue was not possible to solve there. But somehow I expected it solved in OpenXR. Is it same (not working horizontal offset) for you?
  15. There is a steamvr setting for reducing fov per game, or even kind of zoom. But if you have problems even in OpenXR, then I do not know. If I were you, that issue would made me wipe my windows...
  16. I am not sure for your problem, but first check that you use correct bindings for vr, the "toggle vr zoom / spyglass zoom", under "UI layer". Second, I have some positional problems if I start game from pitool without steam/steamvr. Without them my position is 1m above. You may check booth ways of starting game, maybe one shows correct. And on my pimax vr zoom works great. PS: zoom is working good only if you look far away, in cockpit you will be crosseyed with zoom, that is normal.
  17. Set hags off.
  18. It is not obvious. Something make us not see link (HDD) on flanker if sun is aproximately from back side. That is wrong, and makes flying flanker disadvantage. It is too important to just let it be. Ps: developer has focus on flankers hdd reflection, but that is actually not problem.
  19. Ok, I didn't know that, some shaddows exist. But main problem is when sun is between 4 and 8 o'clock, in that area none of existing shadows help. Flying flanker on such situations make me really mad, and I do blame developer for ignoring such obvious problem. PS: I already opened a helpdesk ticket about it, but answer was that they will not change anything, and that I can write about that issue here... Not nice..
  20. Late to the party, but just for others with problems at takeoff (presented as left engine fire, but really takeoff problem); My left rudder pedal partially broke, and I was sometimes unintentionaly breaking. I had many days with frustration, but calibration site showed my faulty left pedal (huge dead zone didn't help). I repaired broken parts with super glue and some pulver, no more problems for me. But as above said, press and hold breakes, wait for booth afterburners, and then start rolling.
  21. What is happening: In Su-33 and some other FC3 planes, there is a too strong sun reflection from lower display (HDD). Is it realistic or not, that is not my concern. I worry about something else: as a VR player, first time when I saw that high reflection, I tried to cover sun with my body (head), but there are no real shadows in those planes. If they were, I would be able to bend my body to the right, put my head in front of HDD, or simply stretch my hand and I would be able to see all what HDD shows, regardless of HDD "anty-glare" quality. My proposal: a) please add real shadows to FC3 planes, or b) reduce excessive sun reflection from HDD screens, or maybe put reflection as is, and after 2-3 second to be reduced (that can emulate putting hand over display to see it better)
