  2. Hey @currenthill Awesome news that you are working on finding a suitable Z10 or 19 model. Just what we need for the Chinese faction. In other news, I have downloaded the new Olympus RTS system. I am not sure if you are familiar with it. (If anybody else is please Google rather then flooding this feed) However, I am trying to add your assets into the game as it only has ED assets for now. You have to enter them into a database via name and add variables. I tested it and tried using the M10. I used [CH] M10 LT, M10, and M10 LT. However your units won't show when the game loads. It's nothing wrong with your units, I think it has something to do with me not using the right names? Have you played with this new mode yet?
  3. Hey @currenthill. I know you get tons of requests and ideas. So i have refrained from those kind of comments. However, making a mission yesterday... I realized that we have zero Chinese helicopters. That would be a nice addition that I doubt ED Is working on.
  4. So I tested the 110 and the FI Storch. I can destroy them on the ground. Not in the air. Seems like the what may be the hit box is underneath the actual plane. Kinda the same thing some of your older planes are doing

  6. Nothing should stop you from completing all the aircraft that you have teased though. Along with all the ones that you said you would fix. You have a ton of mods out already that could benefit from an update. You are the only person that makes mods for WW2, I appreciate you, just remember Quality over quantity.
  7. I am having this issue as well. Except for me it's every ship I try to download. I know how to get around my anti-virus, but I would like to know if it's safe and tested first.
  8. Did you use the updated weapons script on the Jas39 forum page? Or from the discord Currenhill posted. Its on the last page of the forum. I have the Jas39 and all currenthill mods without issue.

  11. Hey @whisky.actual Just a heads up. I have downloaded all of currenthills recent mod packs. There is now a conflict between yours and his on the weapons front. When your mods are loaded together. Ground units do not appear.

  13. So I went through all my other mods... First I finally took the time to separate them by era. WW2, Korea-Vietnam, and Modern. Considering Currenthill has not made WW2 and Vietnam mods yet, I figured no reason to run them together. Then onto the testing of modern aircraft mods. I found that the Jas39 and the Su30 pack are the culprits. It does seem to be a weapons conflict. So just a heads up for anyone that uses those. Maybe there will be a compatibility fix in the future! I will post on the Jas39 and Su30 pages as well so those authors know.
  14. Yeah, my issue is a bit different. Currenthill assets are showing in the drop down menu, and are not causing crashes. However, once I place them and start the game up. They do not appear. I took all my other mods out of the aircraft and tech folders, tried again, and they now show up in game. I will have to test mods two or three at a time until I find the culprit(s). I will post here once found so other people can know of the conflict. Hopefully its nothing commonly used. Crash logs won't help me here, because the game is not crashing, right?
  15. Anybody have any leads for what causes ground units to not show up now? Currenthill aircraft are working and that is it. I have most of the popular mods, SamAssets, Massun, VPC, VSN, Admiral89, Hawkeye WW2. Every update another mod bites the dust. Interested to see where this modding community will be in two years time.

  17. It has been awhile since I have been playing this. I updated to the current game version, and updated all of your assets minus some Chinese tanks and ships. All are showing up in game and working fine. Other then Admiral Gorshkov. The game will not launch when it is in my tech folder. Just a heads up!
  18. @NineLine I will finish with this. I probably look like an ass to some. However, every great person, idea, or item has had a web of criticism behind them. It's important to know the good and the bad. You do a very hard job of dealing with the public opinion. I know as an RV Service Manager, dealing with rich people, with their rich toys. I'm behind you guys every step of the way as you guys have influenced me to leave my job and pursue aviation someday. For that, I can't thank enough. Have a good day all.
  19. A way more elegant way to put it. As I did say the community mods definitely get us by while other things are being addressed. It just sucks to hear the same thing, again, and again. Hence the OP's initial post of us hearing about the same AI updates for years. I would love to use strictly ED models, but it is not immersive to fight ED modeled stand ins for missing assets.
  20. I am taking account for all aspects of the game. Out of all the things listed. Assets are last on that list, that's all I'm saying. Do what you guys are doing, just know everything has been touched other then AI assets in the last two years. Including how they act and react. In all my missions I have to code AI to the point its all I do in a night. Only to have it broken in the next update. I love this game and what you guys do, but either the hardships need be acknowledged, or more help needs to be hired.
  21. KS-19 is the only thing ED has added in the last two years. Correct me if I'm wrong. However, if I am right. This is a clear indication that assets are close to last on the list. Also saying that, ED is well behind on many things that can make the game far more enjoyable. If we have to live off of community mods for awhile that's just fine. Currenthill, Admiral89, and others are doing a fantastic job with it. Just recognize that it is not a priority of yours, and be honest with your community.
  22. For all those that are wondering. It does work on the newest version of beta. However, it freezes the game when going to the loadout screen in the editor. You can however, arm the plane and choose the livery when you start the game and play like normal. So can't really use for AI, but you can play as it.

  24. @Hawkeye60 Have you been working on many more WW2 vehicles? It would be cool to have more armored cars and artillery. And anything Russian as they decided to do none of that in the assets pack
  25. Just have to wait for the Ka-52 build. Can't remember who is making it but they are taking their time on every part of the bird. Definitely going to be worth the wait.
