Perhaps the launcher is setting a lock which is removed late when one launches DCS?

Is it correct to assume the identity of stable and open beta is only temporary?

I'd say give them your seemingly well informed opinion and let them decide if its worth the effort. Maybe there even is an easy fix? They seem to be a really engaged and serious bunch.

Hello, and thx for your work! Question: I got this Seafire mod here: I can take off and land with it on those carrier mods, but the AI can only land on them. When I set them up to take off, they just sit there forever. Any idea why that could be? Thanks again!

Hi there! Just stumbled across this, installed Seafire and Victorious, and am having fun trying to land. Question: While as a player I can take off and land (sort of...), the AI can land, but does not take off, it just keeps sitting there. Any idea why that could be?

I want the B17s to shoot back at attackers.

Each to their own ... I want bombers and twin engine ground attackers, and stuff to blow up for them. Unfortunately the blowing up aspect is missing in those sims.

In other words: the nuisance and the interesting aspect of flight simming.

I have not moved anything, I attach my logbook.lua. In case you wonder, I continued my "V for Victory" campaign by skipping all the missions I had done already. Thx for any hint! logbook.lua

Same just happened to me. All campaigns reset after todays update. This is really annoying and frustrating. PLEASE, do something about this!

I have done that before. It's not the first time this happens to me. Not often neither, maybe 2 or 3 times a year. And as said above, after a reboot of the PC the red shield was green again, and all fine. Until some day I will probably again get completely unexpectedly kicked out of the middle of a thrilling mission ...

Oh please fix this .... Incriminated file: coremods/wwii units/a-20g/textures/a-20g.zip Kicked after 45 minutes flying an intense mission No mods, repair had been done some weeks ago. DCS restart did not help, computer reboot did. The DCS folder is in the exclusions list for windows security. Thinking about it - the saved games/dcs folder not. Will add it and hope for the future...
