oh my, this shows the people that pre order or download betas just to play the game before release, the idea of pre release is so we can try and iron out the bugs/glitches and cockups before the final release if you dont want to improve the sim play then dont get it in the first place, All I see is posts of this dont work that dont work and comments like they expect the BETA to be perfect. Sorry peeps when the devs change things you have to download either a patch or the whole thing again to then test that the mended bits havn't broken anything else. this post is not aimed at true testers who quite often put a lot of time and effort into improving our experience of the final product.

he is saying look at the mouse list and it wont allow the axis to be bound to it..
-
is it possible to put a10 & bs2 in this yet or not, and when we can will it find them automatic or will we have to uninstall from present location and reinstall to world location..thanks..
-
Actually it does work and I use it a lot, it made a10 a lot more playable on my system. thanks for bringing it out to others again it may help some of them.
-
Trouble is I think youi guys try to play arma like its COD or BF3, And it certainly aint. ArmA is more of a sim, its like playing DCS A10 like you would play hawx its possible but you get killed a lot. Its horses for courses really if you want run and gun fast action FPS shoot em up action maybe ArmA is not the game for you. on the other hand maybe you just enjoy the death screens and dont care... INCOMING!!!

Snipes, Dont like to piss on your parade but;; been there done it failed.. if you connect the joy controller up to your panel and test all looks fine, Till you start switching more buttons to the on positions, if each joy button has its own ground no probs but most use a common ground, also the hat switch can only be used for things like rotary switches like on tacan panel etc. it is much better to get bodnar or phidgets boards even though they are pricey.

MacTheKnight. I thank you for the a10 lua works fine. I tried to adapt it for BS2 but with no luck, BS2 starts gets to the unpause screen then hangs, I can push through it and the game works but no helios or ivibe, did you come across this in your a10 version before you got it working ?..
-
Mac the knight, I have it running with helios no probs. do helios as normal, then goto a10/config/export/config.lua open to edit with notepad++, on enableexportscript = true put to false, and on intellivibe = false put to true, and save/exit. should all be working then..
-
just one other thing not all of us playing have eyesight that comes close to the required standard for fast jet combat, so we need a bit of help, I don't see anything wrong in using help to let me play and enjoy the game instead of going round and round trying to hit a target getting more and more frustrated, And eventually binning the game and going back to portal2..

in a10 control setup tir as follows. Longitude shift camera view = trackir_z gives you proper head movement.

afaik win 7 uses a ssd as a ram buffer this buffer is not being written to the hard drive if you have one if you dont then the buffer setting should be turned off. this is readyboost you will find it in the ssd properties. if it is disabled then it is probably win7's prefetch which holds some well used data in memory and can use the ssd for it..turning off main power could cause this data to be lost..

tom dont delete the panels in helios just hide them, then if a panel goes tits up you can just unhide the helios panel and check the bindings against the panel ones or whatever..

@ frostiken, The imperial war museum, isn't just 1 museum it is a large kind of family of museums of which duxford is a part, another part worth a visit is cosford in shropshire, the main IWM building in london is a great day out too.. -
For everyones info it comes with an american power lead to the transformer this is just an ordianry mains lead with a figure 8 plug like the old radios on one end and a us type 2 pin plug on the other, these leads can be bought cheap with an english plug if needed or just buy an adapter. the transformer itself will handle 100 to 240 volt so is good to go.

I got mine in about 10 days around a fortnight ago no probs and all trackable on usps website. I ordered online with no problems, mine is the tfs3 and is absolutly great you just start the interface pick a profile and play your game, you can even open the separate interface windows to adjust on the fly, easier if you have 2 monitors.
-
it is available to all:thumbup:. one thing i should mention is if you are ordering from uk dont forget to allow for the VATMAN to get his wack, this delays delivery til parcel farce has sent you a letter and got paid i think it was about £15 for each of them so add on £30ish

Smil you dont have to disable exports if you like me have helios or similar just use the export for that and put intellivibe true in the config.lua it works fine.I have renamed the export.lua that comes from vrf toVRFExportA10.lua & same but with BS2 for KA50. as for TARS. and put it in the export folder, so i have class.lua ..config.lua..export.lua..TARSExport.lua..vector.lua & VRFExport.lua..in my EXPORT FOLDER. hope this helps mate..

Turk the cad pics are exactly what it looks like, a black box & a seat cushion. if you see it in action you will get no idea as you need to feel it.
-
I also have this and have found the service from craig excellent, I ordered online without problems and the box arrived in uk in less than a week. the product is well made and comfortable, easy to setup you just plonk the cushion on your seat plug a thick lead into it then into the small control box, power lead to the transformer this has a us type plug but its a normal figure 8 plug at the other end so either swap leads as i did or cut the end off and put a uk plug on. plug in the usb lead and it has a through port adapter for the sound so you unplug the sound lead from your comp plug in the adapter then plug both leads into it. my only downer on it is the lack of any paperwork, no manual or quick setup guide so the only way to do it was reading the forum ivibes and here. so overall a good product but could do with some paperwork. one thing i have not overcome yet is getting it to work with helios another great product from another craig..if anyone works this out send me a pm please.. Forget what i said my fault didn't enable it DOH. it works fine with helios.

AFAIK the hud mode you are thinking of was done by adjusting the forward view to just be the fire ex handles and hud, this will not work with trackers, its just for a static view. another one used a edited lua but this removed the whole cockpit section so it was almost the same as alt-f1 view but as you pan around you had odd bits of plane here and there. it wasnt very good IMO..
