one other thing don't expect any of the rewards like manuals etc until way into next year maybe even after main release as they have to be made but they need to have the info from the release version, its no good doing a manual before you know how it will all work is it. same as you I am not interested in the t shirt and bits, all i want is a playable game with the aircraft offered and the manuals i pledged for. I can wait.....

as for the ks paypal pledges luthier said he would e-mail with request for your wants then before shipment e-mail again to confirm, I dont know a timeframe for this. I think he asked in one of the updates for anyone who wanted a p51 from paypal to ask him through pm with details of their pledge. luthier also said that he would try to make all backers happy within reason ie if they had a pledge on ks for say $100 and want matrix options it could be doable. it is just getting hold of him as obviously he is a bit busy.

confirm received as above just serial so you can bind to any account. A $40 dollar pledge gets you A backer medal in forum, Beta access, and all flyables in game. Nothing for DCS World.

I thought the op made it quite clear in his original post that he was asking ED for an answer to a change in the game that seemed to make no sense, No input from anyone else was required. Maybe it would have been better sent as a PM to an official or as a support ticket to ED but the op probably thought that he may get a quicker answer on here. Looks like he was wrong.

So lets get this right, you had XP running KA50 BS 1, you now have Win7 64 or 32? with A10C from steam and you want KA50 on steam, AFAIK you can only do this if you buy KA50 BS2 from anywhere but off steam is probably safer. if on the other hand you just want to play BS1 install it outside steam as a standalone. by safer I mean less complicated for you..

I was just relaying what was said on the MS website, to me what your saying makes sense if they are plugged into a hub that is in use then if win shuts the port it would cut all off but this is MicroSoft we are talking about so SNAFU. To me it seems more likely that Win cant install drivers unless it sees some sort of feedback after they are initially plugged in as Coolts says his is trying to connect all the time.

you could ask rc simulations their mrvc used a couple of different sticks cut up and built into it.

use the KA and adjust it to the Huey.

The problem is with MS, because the mfds dont send any signal to the comp until u press a button win 8 thinks they are idle and shuts down the usb port. also MS has removed the update from the store for the time being so it looks like they are sorting a fix, maybe an option to turn off the offending app.

:joystick:I have learn't a lot since my first dip into dcs way back in the day when lockon was high fidelity simulation. now I have DCSW and LOMAC,FC,FC2,A10C,BS2,CA,P51,MI8,Huey. Also because of kickstarter taking £200+ I will have WWII and its planes + nearly all the manuals. With this lot to choose from I ain't got time to learn how to suck logs aswell, I think I just do it naturally..:doh:

you have probably used a different or new account to buy the new ones, did you login with the same details don't tell me or anyone else the details, if you have the same account then you will need to open a ticket to sort it out.

You may install to whatever drive you like it only reads the registry to check lomac.

Glider, have you or anyone thought of doing panels that are the same switch layout but for the different aircraft. you could then have a set of switch panels and just swap the fronts over when flying different aircraft just my brain working overtime. what do you all think be honest I can take it...

I actually think Chokko has a good idea as they have just done almost that in giving us lucky guys the updated A10A and Su. I have all modules except the KA2 upgrade as I went straight to full version. I have not used CA but I have it as it supports ED. If we don't give them support they will go the way of so many other niche market companies.

when i build a panel I drag the panel to main area, size it then click on it to make it the only thing in work area, then setup instruments or switches and save. doing it this way attaches the bits to the panel rather than just placing them in the profile. if you then want to resize the panel just click on it in the editor and resize it and move the bits around, I dont think you can just resize apanel and everything on it will go aswell.

I have worked out enabling multiscreen and have clicked in helios and in cockpit its not as easy as I would have hoped but its there. using touchless for win8 is easy but I think the movement is too fast it needs to slow down to be more usable. overall so far I'm happy. just waiting for the clever guys and girls to work their magic and get some class apps out there.

works great thanks. I have found that although my world install is on my f drive the filepath for helios is to my c drive but who cares it works in a10/bs2&fc3 so I'm a happy bunny.

you could try a Y lead to split 1 output into 2.
