  1. The harbor depth for the military port in Alexandria is not deep enough to place ships in it that actually dock there.
  2. Any further Iranian assets (ships, SAMs, ground units) planned? Also, The upgraded and semi-mobile SA-3 would be a fun asset to have too. Also, any additional statics that make good strike targets would be a welcomed addition.

  5. I was referring to just placing the infantry type MANPAD on the back deck. I would assume on a real patrol craft that's something they'd just take with them and stow until needed and is not a mounted weapon system. Because of the limitations of placing units over water in DCS I figured adding the MANPAD unit to the 3D model would be the best way. Also, the Pashe class, based on US patrol boats, are known to have ZU-23's mounted on them.
  6. @currenthill Excellent work once again. Thanks for all you do. I have a couple of questions/requests: Would a version of the Iranian Patrol boat with a MANPAD onboard be possible? And could you make the gunner with the mounted Dshk near the front of the ship as a ground unit by itself. I've often wanted to have a manned HMG ground unit for base defenses or ambushes, etc. Thanks again.
  7. DCS SAMs only intercept things classified as missiles. The M270 and this mod are rocket artillery and would not be intercepted. Some SAM systems have the real capability to do so, but that is not currently modeled in DCS. I think it's probably being considered because they keep showing the C-RAM as an asset in that is coming soon and that is regularly used to shoot down projectiles as small as mortar rounds.
  8. Under the Trigger column change "Once" to "Switched Condition" so it will do it each time. Change your second trigger to turn off the flag after the unit leaves the zone. This way they will hold the salute until the unit moves away and then reset for the next occurrence. You can do it without flags too if you change the "flag on" to "AI Task Push" and you have the alarm states set on the unit as triggered actions.
  9. Your version has the launcher on top fire the Osa missile from the SA-8, but for players there isn't a RWR warning for search, track, or lock from the patrol boat. The missile works properly but I was wondering how to get the RWR warnings to function so players have a chance against it. Or how to replace it with an IR missile.
  10. I'm running both versions of the Iranian patrol boat and the collaborative version with Currenthill seems to have fixed the backwards missile issue. Or something else I've done has. My only comment would be to have the Osa armed version set off your RWR so they get a missile warning.

  12. The patriot system will intercept scuds based on my experience, but I'm not sure if any other's will. The geometry of scud attacks may make it difficult for other sams to engage them, if that is modeled accurately.
  13. Has there been any further consideration or work on green liveries for these assets for use on non-desert maps?
  14. I really like a lot of the models in your mod pack. Would it be possible to release the new update with an option for each model to be its own independent mod? The whole pack is quite large and I find I don't use all of the items on my increasingly full hard drive.

  16. Well, How I Play made a video including this mod and the work being undertaken by currenthill, which was then shared by the DCS discord. That's not exactly written consent, but I'm not sure they object either.
  17. I believe the real coastal batteries use a version of the Giraffe 75 radar to search and track. The mods as is will work with AWACS or also a specific command to target a certain group or unit. Perhaps it could be modified to work with the same Giraffe based radar that is in the mod pack already.
  18. Would it be possible to make amphibious versions of the infantry? I only ask because to place units on a ship or oil platform DCS needs them to be amphibious. I don't actually want them to swim but turning any merchant vessel or oil platform into a potential MANPAD location is something missing from the game.
  19. I might be in the minority here but considering the full pack is 11G I appreciate that each mod is self-contained and I can pick and choose if I want some or all of them installed at any time.
  20. I don't think it has collision model so its invulnerable. Not the most useful of mods but it does look nice.

  22. Any thought to expand this to include AShM like the K-300 Bastion or Bal-e?
