So like AERGES with the F1, several variants form the older third generation one to a relatively modern one, almost fourth generation. Great
-
Which variant it will be? It seems to be an early one, C1 or C2, like a Mirage V with different engine and canards... Am I wrong?

They are not now in French shoes, they are in Spanish shoes. If they continue developing modules for DCS (this is just a side job for them as far as I know, at least that´s what said one of the devs in a interview for a Spanish YT channel) they probably are going to create only airplanes that serve or served in the Spanish Air Force since at least one of de devs have familiar connections with several pilots of the Ejército del Aire so they can easily get documentation and testing. It´s difficult since we already have a Hornet in DCS, but I would like the EF-18M (like someone already said, a strange mix: an F/A-18A with elements of the Super Hornet and European weapons) or the EF-18A and EF-18B (80s avionics, pods and weapons and double cockpit). But I suppose the F-104 is the most safe bet, since other possible candidates like the Mirage III, the F-4 Phantom or the Eurofighter are going to be developed for DCS by other people, even if it will be a different variant.

Which version will receive ATLIS pod and AS30L?
Llanero replied to bennyboy9800's topic in DCS: Mirage F1
At least one of the members of Aerges/Aviodev is closely related by family with pilots of the Spanish Air Force. That´s why they have access to good documentation of the CASA C-101, the Spanish versions of the Mirage F1, and probably other planes of the Spanish Air Force like the F-4C Phantom II, the Mirage III or the F/A-18A+. But I don´t think it´s so easy for them to find documentation of airplanes and variants of other countries. So I would not be optimistic about variants of the F1 from Iraq, Morocco or other countries. -
It´s the first version. I´m sure Aerges will improve the manual. It happens with most of the modules.
-
You are right, the Mirage F1 hasn´t been added yet. I suppose they will add this module soon. And yes, it can remove default kneeboard pages with the option "Clear custom kneeboard for plane X"

correct as is Draken International Skin(s) Missing Logo
Llanero replied to JacobyWitness's topic in Bugs and Problems
The description of this skin in the editor is not even "Draken", it´s "Aggressor Nellis" or something like that. It´s a copyright issue, for sure. But I´m sure that some modder will fix the skins soon. -
Hey Japo, a fan of your YT channel here. I don´t know if you know the free app "Kneeboardbuilder". https://dcskneeboardbuilder.com/Y ou can edit the kneeboard pages for every plane in two minutes, every flight if you wish, removing the default pages and inserting every PDF you want. The full manual or abbreviated checklist, flight plans, charts, maps, your own notes... what you want. It´s an amazing tool, and free.

Manuals in Spanish is not a "courtesy", it is thinking in your Spanish customers since it´s a big portion of potential customers. This is not the real plane. Real life pilots must know English. They learn English during their training as pilots. PLAYERS can know English, or can´t. I´m pretty sure the people of AERGES will translate the manual into Spanish soon, the same way they translated into Spanish the manual of the C-101 EB (not the CC one, and that´s a shame). My point is: this is a GAME, not real life. Not everybody knows English and, since this is a really complex GAME, developers should try to facilitate things for all players, if they pretend to sell as many modules as possible.

This is a plane that entered in service in 1973 for battlefields of that era. Not to drop those planes in battlefields of the 90´s or the 2000´s is a good idea. Mig-19, Mig-21 and Mig-23 should be its main enemies. Also, it´s not a plane for deep attacks into enemy territory (ground attack is just a secondary mission for this version, F1CE), but to intercept enemy bombers and fighter-bombers into its own territory where there were no concern about SAM. The F1M (modernized) had better avionics (including better RWR), and ECM and Chaff pods, so it was a capable fighter-bomber that could enter into enemy territory to perform attacks.

I think that this module is not less complex than other modules like the F/A-18 or the F-16, since there are 4 variants of this plane, including a functional double cockpit and a modernized version with HUD and glass cockpit, so it´s fair that it has the same price (other thing is if 80 bucks is cheap or expensive for a module. Its not cheap, IMO)... BUT... I think the double cockpit is not something that everybody needs/wants. I´m not planning in training other people or receiving training from others, so I would prefer the module were a bit cheaper (maybe like the Harrier or the Mirage 2000) without the functional double cockpit variant, and to have the option of buying it for a few more bucks if I were interested.

Someone having problems buying this module from ED shop?
Llanero replied to Llanero's topic in General Bugs
PD. I have created a ticket and I know this is not a bug of this module. I´m just curious about other people having problems with ED´s e-shop since yesterday, or it´s just me. -
I have been trying to buy this module since yesterday from ED e-shop with my credit card, and although the App of my bank authorize the purchase, all I get from the ED´s website is "failed purchased, try again later or contact with your bank" or something like that... I don´t think is a problem of my bank or credit cart since I can buy things from other sites and, as I say, my bank authorize the purchase... Someone is having this kind of problems with ED e-shop?
