  1. I have a problem for a few months (since an update) when I fly as CPG when Georges is on the pilot seat. Every time I move the throttles, it goes back immediately to full power. Impossible to control the power in case of engine overspeed or to set idle in order to cut off the engines. It goes full forward instantly. I thought it was a key binding problem, but if I switch to the pilot seat, there is no problem anymore. I think I finally found where the problem is thanks to a nice and helpful ZSU 23-2 which decided to kill Pilot George while I was flying the aircraft from the front seat ! Since George death, no problem with the throttle anymore. I deduced that even if I have control when I am on the front seat, Georges still has control of the throttles, forbidding me to reduce. Is it on purpose ? If yes, why ? It is quite problematic. Thank you !!!
  2. For information. I have exactlly the same problem for a few month. Only on the CPG seat. And even after the last update.
  3. My bad ! It is done on my initial message. I can see that if you don't lase long enough to have a stabilized range (5 seconds), the value changes continiously. It may explain why the points I store use to drift.
  4. Hello, I observed something strange regarding how the system records the range detected by the laser. When you lase, the range is stored and showed even if you stop lasing, changing if your helicopter moves. So far everything is normal. The problem starts when you lase another object at another distance. It gives you the correct range but if your pulse is to short, when you stop lasing, it returns back to a value between the former range and the new one. Example : We are stationnary (to make it easy). We lase an object at 8000m for a few seconds. When the laser is off, the TADS and the TSD kekp showing 8000. Then, we lase an object at 3000m for a few seconds. The TADS and the TSD show the new value, but when we stop lasing, it returns back to a value between the old one (8000) and the new one (3000). The longer we lase, the closer to the new one it is. Lase 0.5 seconds, it dispays 7000. Lase 1.5 seconds, it shows 4000 (roughly). Which means that if you want to make a new ranging and storing, you have to lase for a few seconds. Is it normal ? If yes, why does it work like this (technically)? Thank you ! PS : I also observed that if lasing at more than 10km, you see 9999, which is normal. If you store a point at more than 10km, the storing will be accepted by the system but will store a point at exactly 10km in the middle of nowhere. I don't know if it is normal. Laser test.trk

  7. I can move my TADS normaly with my joystick when I fly and when Georges flies
  8. I have a dead zone for the MAN TRK which is large enough. And it dosen't move if Pilot Georges is flying the helicopter or if I am steady. It would if it was a dead zone center problem.
  9. I checked that multiple times. not finding the issue... By the way, it's realy less likely to happen if gorges flies the aircraft. That being said. I have an issue with the thottle levers always going forward (only if I am gunner, not on the pilot seat) even with no double inputs. May there be a relationship between those problems ? I can't find it.

  12. Hello, I am facing a recurent problem for a few months playing on the gunner seat. When I use the IAT on a target and then take control of the aircraft, the TADS has a tendency to drift continiously. I have to re-center whith the MTT promote Switch all the time. I don't even talk about storing a point in those conditions. The stored point drifts continiously. If I swich the Sight Select Switch to HMD, it recenters and stays centered, but I cannot lase and engage in this mode. Thanks a lot ! Track attached. TADS drift 2.trk
  13. Removing the Automatic AI handover doesn't work. I finally understood why. Georges doesn't trim ! The trim is always neutral on every axis. So obviously it is neutral when I take control. Which is not simple in many situations !!
  14. Hello, I use to play as CPG and every time I take control from Georges (the rear seat pilot), the trim configuration reset at once. Which is making things difficult and which is not realistic. Is there any update scheduled regarding this issue ? <<thank you very much !

  16. I use MT version, and it doesn't work at all, whatever the hight over the ground and the surface type. I will try back the ST. Thank you ! I hope this issue will be fixed soon.
  17. Hello, I am not sure about being on the correct forum, But I have a question. There is abotoutly no dust lifted from the ground when I fly low whith the AH64 or the Ka50. Is there any option to switch on ? I search but I don't find any. Thanks a lot.
  18. I am suprised about the close range at which they engage. It seems really close to me concidering the theoritical range and what Hobel posted a few hours ago
  19. I know what you mean and honesty, I agree in a way. The point with th Apache is the fact that ground launched IR missiles are shot really close due to the fact that the helicopter seems to have a very low IR signature (which is nice by the way). But the drawback is that if the CMWS has a delay, you are so close when the missile is fired you are already done when it is detected. PS : On the other hand,they have decided to make the Ka50 Onboard Defense System more reactive even if you are shot at longer distances when flying this aircraft.   21. I just tried with different aspects (side and rear) It is not more than 500 meters different. The Apache IR signature must be extremly low...
  22. I would say far less with an F16 than with an AH64, concidering your IR signature. And it is like that in DCS. But you are far more likely to be shot at in an helicopter, This is the point of the missile launch detector in th helicopter (CMWS). I succed in dodging MANPDS in the F16. But only dropping buckets of flares preventively when entering in the killzone.

  24. If required, I made another trak without the mod and with a SA18. It is even worse. You can see that he sees me at more than 5 km and shoot at 1.6 km. Which is way below the max range. Still exellent IA in RED alert state. MANPAD Test 2.trk
