Unasked for moza thoughts: * you can mount it backwards, just remember to save your profiles with inverted x and y axes * you can box the amount of movement available for each profile eg the default fa18 will only push forward a few degrees so as not to slam into a centre mfd. That rules for cockpit builders except the default startup requires it to slam violently into all your precious kit unless you lift it out beforehand.

Hello I just wanted to say that due to circumstances I have approx 200x more hours in my phantom t-shirt than in the jet and while that makes me sad, it is a very very fine shirt well done your designers

For the couple times I've raised issues with them they've been keen to set up video/screenshare calls, to work past the language issues (which also made me give up on a 3rd occassion when I was trying to recommend a feature). They also accepted a youtube clip with me annotating "look! there is the issue! look at it!" and pushed a simapppro patch a couple days later which I appreciated.

I think the simplest no-cost way would be to use https://www.autohotkey.com/ to build some macros e.g. set Ctrl-F1 or whatever to run through that sequence, without having to build anything. I guess you're talking about Voiceattack which allows for macros without having to use the voice part. Assume you can link that to a button box with dcs-bios or whathaveyou. The elgato streamdeck lets you build macros for its big friendly buttons through its software, and you can have pretty much infinite commands and profiles for whatever scenario.

It looks neat and I like the art a lot, seems like it needed a couple passes over the text in the pics and on the webpage cos its kind of messy Respect to the author though, must be a labour of love to put that sort of thing together.

Thanks for that, it's hard to pick on updates from the app or the discord channel. I was still on the 1.0.5 and just discovered the "gear buffet" option which had defaulted to brick-in-a-washing-machine level dangerous.

Sorry I'm not following they can ditch the delanclip and keep using the ps3eye or other webcam without wires cost or hassle e: OK FINE maybe the ps3eye open drivers are a pain sometimes to install but maybe they have a better webcam anyway

Just use your ps3eye and opentrack's nn headtracking (large model)

I think it comes fitted with idle/afterburner (15-70-15?) which matches pretty much everything in-game without modification as far as I've seen. Keen to see what the pros do!

Stupid questions why-are-you-even-asking-this time: a. you calibrated them in the vpc config? b. you're looking in the module's dcs axis settings not the everything-but?

Anything funny with the DCS bindings for headtracking in the controls setup? You could clear them out and see if it still crashes, put them back one by one etc.

This is a great idea, loading the last map you used in the QAG is causing me no end of grief and I'd rather just not use the QAG. Either no map or Caucasus seems sensible, given the load time problem.

Yeah DCS' direct feedback was fine (well after I reversed the roll axis) but the Moza telemetry was stubbornly conflicting with DCS so if I trimmed 45° forward, the stick would automatically throw itself 45° right of centre. Its not worth losing the vibrations for so time to look at that dremel...

This is a guess but DCS-BIOS suggests the names for the modules might be "F-14B", "F-14A-135-GR" so try that for the A

Right now its sitting in front of my seat with a gooseneck extension, will lock it down when everythings ok. First try with the Apache seemed fine, using the Hind preset and felt like the trim etc worked alright. Second try with the Ka50 not so much, the Moza/Integrated feedback is on the wrong axis so if I trim forward it trims left.

Did people figure out if it can be configured to run sideways? I need that extra half inch (...) / cables out the way E. It can't be as simple as switching the axes in dcs surely?

When the mode switch function is activated in the VPC software it will hardwire the 6 led buttons to different assignments based on mode. (as opposed to the dial just being 5 regular buttons if set that way). You can choose either mode in the VPC software. I think guy above is probably right though. You can set, say, the flap axis to pretend to be buttons. So if the A10 had no flaps axis but DCS did have up/mvr/down buttons: you could set say 0-10% to be flaps down, 10-90% to be mvr, 90-100% to be up. Those would show as your missing 3 buttons. Probably.
