  1. The entire training package is dressed like a campaign right. Could be great fun Though I do hope it allows space-to-advance like most newer modules, for when you're on your 5th time around.
  2. Did I misunderstand or will the fancy new tablet also serve as a training system by giving you checklists and highlighting the actual cockpit items as you work through them? You could have really barebones training missions that are just "start your plane and fly from a to b using the checklists. Off you go".
  3. also seems like the sort of thing the simapppro profile store might have
  4. I love spacedesk. Its neat. When they finally go fully commercial is going to be a sad time. That said, I'm impressed that you've got one of them working with on screen buttons so well. Have you tried their forums and support, such as they are?
  5. the real test will be DCS + the 50 accompanying programs in the background
  6. Any other high-power USB things running, like an HD webcam for headtracking, logitech mouse software polling at 10 triillion ticks per second? Are all the USBs set to "high-performance/never sleep" through the control panel and the device driver panel? (not sure of exact terms)
  7. So its just the screens, good to know! Yeah best guess is its a weird USB thing. No change if you just plug one in and use a different monitors.cfg file to place it (you can do this by hand / via helios or however you configured screens in the past, independently of simapppro despite its complaining)
  8. What happens when you try just the screens / just the UFC / just the MFD button units? It would be weird if each caused equal slowdowns independently
  9. Any differences with simapppro active or off? Winwing removed from export.lua?
  10. My work got big into Copilot and wanted to see if it could analyse groups of 10 docs, the sum of whch would have fit into barely half of a NATOPS. We found it would barely skim-read like the first 4 of them and ignore the rest. Are you getting more helpful results than just say the ED manual and Chucks, or looking up Chucks yourself as you go
  11. Excellent that is the very youtube that helped me set it up as well
  12. How are the tablets set as monitors? It would be helpful to know if they're using something like screendesk to emulate virtual monitors, have natural monitor thingies, or what have you
  13. Have you got the vpc link tool doing conflicting stuff? I only ever used that for the leds
  14. Unasked for moza thoughts: * you can mount it backwards, just remember to save your profiles with inverted x and y axes * you can box the amount of movement available for each profile eg the default fa18 will only push forward a few degrees so as not to slam into a centre mfd. That rules for cockpit builders except the default startup requires it to slam violently into all your precious kit unless you lift it out beforehand.
  15. Hello I just wanted to say that due to circumstances I have approx 200x more hours in my phantom t-shirt than in the jet and while that makes me sad, it is a very very fine shirt well done your designers
  16. For the couple times I've raised issues with them they've been keen to set up video/screenshare calls, to work past the language issues (which also made me give up on a 3rd occassion when I was trying to recommend a feature). They also accepted a youtube clip with me annotating "look! there is the issue! look at it!" and pushed a simapppro patch a couple days later which I appreciated.
  17. I think the simplest no-cost way would be to use https://www.autohotkey.com/ to build some macros e.g. set Ctrl-F1 or whatever to run through that sequence, without having to build anything. I guess you're talking about Voiceattack which allows for macros without having to use the voice part. Assume you can link that to a button box with dcs-bios or whathaveyou. The elgato streamdeck lets you build macros for its big friendly buttons through its software, and you can have pretty much infinite commands and profiles for whatever scenario.
  18. It looks neat and I like the art a lot, seems like it needed a couple passes over the text in the pics and on the webpage cos its kind of messy Respect to the author though, must be a labour of love to put that sort of thing together.
  19. That train is gorgeous. Sodor mission to liberate Henry from his chains and its people from the tyranny of the fat controller please
  20. Thanks for that, it's hard to pick on updates from the app or the discord channel. I was still on the 1.0.5 and just discovered the "gear buffet" option which had defaulted to brick-in-a-washing-machine level dangerous.
  21. Sorry I'm not following they can ditch the delanclip and keep using the ps3eye or other webcam without wires cost or hassle e: OK FINE maybe the ps3eye open drivers are a pain sometimes to install but maybe they have a better webcam anyway
  22. Just use your ps3eye and opentrack's nn headtracking (large model)
  23. I think it comes fitted with idle/afterburner (15-70-15?) which matches pretty much everything in-game without modification as far as I've seen. Keen to see what the pros do!
  24. Awesome, literally exactly the things I'd hoped you were onto or working towards. Hope it breathes new life into this kit for many
  25. Hi I don't have one of these but it sounds neat, good stuff. How does it work with trackir or mouse look etc?
