Bring it on! I am ready for this! Zeus, is the debut of a preliminary manual way off still? Is there any literature out there that you can recommend for us to start learning this bird?

I think that was pretty well put Zeus. You often hear the pilots talking about looking out for their brothers on the ground. Even when you go to the airshows and during the MAGTF demonstrations the Harrier is primarily running CAS for the boys on the ground and F/A-18 is used to sweep the skies.

Yes that is what they ultimately did :), but I do wonder if it's still a hint. That Mig-29 banner lasted about a month I think.

Looks like the anticipated PFM's for the Mig-29 and the Su-33 are coming soon.

So should we assume that when an any release to be done within a certain month that it is likely going to be the last weekend in that month? This seems to be the trend I am seeing. :music_whistling:

I feel like we have cross the threshold of "late May" so let us have it! :) It is airshow weekend at SJAFB so I don't know if I will have much time to explore it if it is released, but yeah still bring it on!

Not sure if this has been asked, but are there plans for a working deck crew to orchestrate takeoffs and landings?

It would be a nice map option, to turn on arresting cables at any airfield for practice. But I guess this is the beauty of having carriers in DCSW to use them for practice.

Put that way it sounds like it could come before Q3 = end of June During Q3 = Beginning July til end of September. Either way it's progressing fast! :)

Good info Zeus. I'm sure it's understood the FM will be tweak well beyond release. I know it is a daunting task. Is CptSmiley part of the team for this module also? He is pretty awesome with his knowledge and community interaction. That can be said for all you guys with RAZBAM. We appreciate all that you do and have done.

Prowler, Zeus and any other RAZBAM staff, do you have any SME on board with supporting development on this wonderful bird. I am hoping you are able to duplicate the hover to climb flight @ 5:57 and the dark exhaust in its transition. Aside from the lack of focus I am sure you get what is happening. My recording skills are sub-par, but not all that bad. :)

NTTR is great and I am enjoying the expansion to the new airfields. Anything extra to come (bug fixes, new lighting and additional graphic tech) will be extra icing on the cake!

Agreed Shagrat! I wonder if Zeus would be generous enough to give a guestimate of percentage of completion on the ASM and AFM. Regardless, I feel very good on his statement yesterday about Q3 early release. It sounds like, and from the snapshots of the HUD, looks like tremendous progress being made. Obvious? No it doesn't appear to be. I recall a discussion around this time last year in the Viggen thread about whether or not ED imposes release schedules on 3rd party modules.
