Zeus, Is the flight model the toughest challenge you guys had thus far, out of all of projects for DCSW and other sims? :)

I can understand the desire and it does make sense to proceed with it. I think I read somewhere, and maybe I am wrong, that they were pushing for a Q1 early release. Does this push those plans back now or will it be the same approach as NTTR. Early release in Q1 and a massive update later in the year to include Southern England? Looking forward to the release.

I have to say that Normandy is looking awesome, but I do question Southern England. Was it in the original plans or are we having scope creep again?

If I am correct campaign releases have no bearing on the progress of updates to the core itself. We could see something as far as updates to 1.5 and/or 2.0 in addition to the release/updates to campaigns.

DCSW is a sand box my friend! All units can be be placed in any map! All units for Normandy will be playable in NTTR and all our current units for Caucasus and NTTR will be available for Normandy. :)

Is it possible they could push another update to 2.0 in the middle of the week to bring it in? :music_whistling: It usually takes a good week to get a build ready to push out, especially adding another module, but I really cant say, I am still praying to the sim gods and we get a surprise tomorrow... gonna go home and sacrifice one of my old Janes disks :) I'll join you in the sacrifice also. I have a few of the old Janes CD's. I might throw in the Falcon 3.0 floppys I have too! :D Have you guys brought forth your sacrifices yet to the DCS gods? :D

Trees in NTTR have the collision feature, but the density of trees for Normandy seems much higher. It begs the question of how well the performance will be for trees, compared to the original release of 2.0/NTTR, if it can be answered.

AGREED!! 9/2013 was the launch of the kickstarter. We are on our way to year number 4 for this map. Yeah it's been long enough... :)
