Improvements will always be ongoing as new techniques and technologies are adopted. I would hope a vast majority of the community realizes this. I guess the biggest thing now is hopefully to get all show stopping bugs resolved and all map objects located. Even with the latter, objects can continually be added with each update?

I have been saying that for months now, but there are no strong indicators to how close we are. No one here has no idea what the scope of work to be done for 2.5 is except for the ED staff. There seems to be some hints of internal testing going on though, but I don't know what to draw from that.

Not sure where to place this since there is no official 2.5 thread, but this seems to be a video of the WIP explosions. If this is the case I will say that the effects are coming along very nicely! :thumbup:

I think the expectations of "what's to come" is really setting us up for the weekly let downs if you see it that way. It's probably best to disengage from the boards a bit and avoid the hype. In fairness we do have the Su-33 to enjoy for a while.

Agreed. You will always find some level of displeasure posted from to time. Can't really ever recall joy being expressed of having to wait for an open ended number of weeks. I will just say chalk it up as another lesson learned about expectations here. Keep them low so you won't get upset when you get news similar to this. And that's not to say this is bad news. It's just a missed curve ball.
