I think we can all be not so self centered and agree on this one. Any hard working man/woman deserves to wind down and enjoy these times with their families. If the release does not make it for the holidays so be it. :)

This is true. A lot of us were counting on it during that time since there is usually a few days off during the holidays in addition to plant shutdowns all over, but no pressure though. :)

The module COULD be ready now, but ED's release strategy may not allow it this month. If I am not mistaken there was some discussion about ED spacing releases out and not stacking the dates close together. I could be incorrect, but I do believe a 3rd party developer mentioned it.

Then we will never see it! :D Nothing is ever complete in DCSW for there will always be updates. ;) Seriously though, I think that is their approach to all their modules they're planning. The Mig-21 is a shining example of that.

Doubtfully. Even with the "announcement" video there seems to be something lacking to indicate they are ready to even release it early.

I often wonder about SAM site configurations myself. GGTharos first post caught my interest on SA-10 (S300P) site configurations. FWIW here a few examples http://www.ausairpower.net/APA-Rus-SAM-Site-Configs-B.html may be a worth while site to draw from...

This is so true. 2.5 slated for this year, but fell short. Initially it was a tough pill to swallow for the community, but in time we learn to move on and wait. I do feel they made amends with the massive update to NTTR. I am loving it and it has eased the pain of the 2.5 delay.

A snippet from the Huey product page. I imagine when this feature is complete and released for the Huey the Mi-8 will be fully functional as well in regards to multicrew. I can't see this slipping in without a major news announcement behind it for those birds. So many are looking forward to it including myself. :)

Can anyone confirm the status of multicrew? Is it just spectator or fully functional on modules that are slated to have this feature?

I feel there will be a lot of time in the M-2000C cockpit this weekend! RAZBAM has scored big with this module IMO! I love it!

Yeah I am all over that reality. I can see that some of these projects can take 2-3 years maybe even more, especially with all this being timed and merged into a new engine. I guess I like see and understand the building blocks to make this all happen. That in itself is entertaining.

So true sir. I try to keep that in mind when it comes to the timing of info and how much they share. It's a bit tricky when folks are so critical of things that are clearly WIP but are quick to bash the team.

To stray away from the topic a little. I wonder what the percentage of completion is for the conversion of the map. Since the projection was for towards the end of this year, and I understand that's not possible to make now, but how far are they really off? I wish the community had some insight to this, but again we are and probably will always be in the dark until a month out when everything is complete.

I seen the advance waypoint setting as 5 miles. If it's outside of that the text becomes orange and it won't let you specify the group to lase.
