  4. hi actually the flir is ... wrong (and almost useless)so i wonder if it is possible to use community made texture to fix this problem with lua or if we need hardcoded fix too?:music_whistling:
  5. hi the older electric pylon are better realistic , the actual (bs2 or a10 1.1.1.0)are ugly and cable too "fat" ;) need the oler model maybee a mod can be done :noexpression:(in the end it's a waste of 3D modelelisation resource :doh:)
  6. i 'm not talking about multi tasking in game logic (physic ,ai) but Multithreaded rendering to render to the same Direct3D device object from different threads for multi core CPUs. not the same thing;)
  7. hi i think it would be good that: -> a "true" satellite view from above at max altitude 25000m (because of game limitation)(no need for 3d satellite model:)) with FLIR and SAR and CCD would be done ,(with telemetry? i don't know if they have telemetry ,distance problem?) i don't know if they can provide irl target coordinate -> same with recon aircraft that can provide view from their pod only the pod need to be modeled FLIR and SAR and CCD .we can set flight plan (of recon plane) in realtime in game and change it. ->same uav -> we have only access to map when we are in spectator mode that we can set unit (name , type , sam engagement zone ,coordinate)manually we can set flight plan for abris and tads each one with their particularities : abris refpoint ,color lines, navpoint with alt speed weather ,etc. and each flight plan can be saved in data storage with name(it takes to much time to set flight plan in abris or tads and difficult and not realistic) . the pilot have to ask ground crew to set his own data storage on aircraft . a10c can dowload flight plan trought datalink (if it can do it)pvi target are set from data storage if it's possible or manually ->if plane like su24m can provide moving target with radar to ka 50(coordinate)

  9. first pic there are 255 objects second 345 objects the more there are object the more you get low fps because objects are cpu limited to circumvent that the game has to be made with dx11 multithread rendering then the more you have core the more you can have object geometric intanciating is another solution for same model cost little to cpu objetc in every game engine are problem even if they have low vertex
  10. not quite sure if tree use Geometry instancing to prevent cpu bounding. http://http.developer.nvidia.com/GPUGems3/gpugems3_ch02.html it seems that the cockpit is the main problem for fps syncing between cpu and gpu without cpu bounding for cockpit is unsolvable afterall? Multithreaded rendering — to render to the same Direct3D device object from different threads for multi core CPUs that should help for better density object tesslation too there will be less vertex transfer. but cockpit is a problem doesn't it?

  19. have you read the doc? the doc say in most environment different from where the radar has been tested in almost was useless (in STI not MTI) because of algorithm they have to be adapted but it seems almost impossible to implement: every zone is different ,target have random orientation ,turret too etc. yeah your right irak is different from conventional war. it 's counter -insurgency after 40 day of "war" in 2003.so not the same procedure. i though your talking about war against great state (ex: usa vs china russia etc.) not against little state with obsolete weapons. "Just because it includes pilot's opinions about the use of STI in that particular environment, does not mean they would not use it in other operating environments" that's high clutter environment it's almost everywhere.and enemy will use that ex: serbia you don't have read the doc they say it was only usable where it has been tested . i don't know if it has been corrected in block 3 and even if it is possible? it's a trouble for every radar has to deal with stationary target

"been in irak" is not argument (about radar)(you tell thing contrary to what ah64d pilot say) a ah64d pilot is an argument the doc i provide is true source you talk about high intensity conflict but it doesn't matter the radar won't work better (as the doc say) in high clutter(city,forest,mountain) the radar is not reliable against stationnary target they have to use optic instead. "I'll be the first to tell you that techniques and procedures used there are not a good representation of what would be used in a no-shit real high-intensity conflict " ->well we will all be nuke before doing something :D

  24. the bug occur only when there is no waypoint in mission:smilewink: corrected when you edit a plan ingame -> bad initialisation without waypoint something like this
