I played around with the voltages a bit. Mi-8: nothing is on, battery knob I and II, indicate 24V. I start AI-9W, voltages checked, momentary jump on the ammeter to 300A. AI-9W is working, I turn on STG-3, voltage increases to 27(28)V, STG-3 -100A, batteries - 0A. STG-3 off. procedure for starting engines, switching on generators and rectifiers. After switching on rectifiers, the STG-3 ammeter reading drops to 0A and from that moment on there are no indications. AI-9W off, STG-3 generator does not work, does not supply voltage. Checked. Mi-24: battery knob, no indications. I turn on L. battery, R. battery, battery knob - 26V. This is the first difference between Mi-8 and Mi-24. Then everything looks similar, until the rectifiers are switched on, where the STG-3 readings show 80A and only after switching off the generator do they drop to 0A. The rest is similar to MI-8. Checked. To my knowledge, this generally looks like correct operation.

This must be a bug. As far as I know, the laryngophone, as well as the SPU (intercom) in the Mi-24, are not used in the DCS. I have never turned on the laryngophone myself, so I have not had the opportunity to encounter this.

Temperature differences only affect when switching off, engine cooling time (1 min in summer, 2 min in winter). When starting up, whether it's summer or winter, we have the same parameter values, the procedure is the same. 20% of engine speed, the rotor starts. And that's enough for me, and how fast it spins up... At the moment of start it will definitely be good. There are a few little things that could be added to make it even more realistic, but they would not affect the gameplay in any way. Let's not forget that DCS is a battlefield simulator where we focus on something else. One thing I would like to see more refined is Petrovitch. Most of the time it's just additional ballast, and it could, for example, help with navigation or be more active in detecting targets.

Hi. I have the same problem with mirrors regardless of which plane or helicopter I choose. Symptoms vary. Empty frames, frosted mirrors or fragments of a framed mirror. I'm using the Steam 2D version, ST. Can I force Steam to run DCS in MT? How do I do that?

Hi @sadjad-vosoul It is sad and incomprehensible to me how some people cannot respect other people. This surprises me even more in this place, where we should be united by an interest in the military and a passion for flying without any prejudice. Hi I have a little problem. I installed the latest version of TeTeT's Vietnam War Vessels 0.5.3. I downloaded a mission using this add-on, but when I want to run it I get a message that Crusader is missing. I wanted to remove the Crusader by editing it so that I could fly in this mission. Unfortunately, I can't edit the mission because... DCS doesn't see the Crusader, but when I create a quick mission myself, I have no problem choosing the F-8E Crusader. Can anyone help me explain what this is about?
