  1. Bug description: This might be a feature -- be it seems like pilot has to wait an inordinate amount of time for the ground forces to reach the objective (and therefore successfully complete the mission). Steps to reproduce: Fly Mission PC Configuration: N/A Attachments: N/A
  2. Yes indeed do read those links and to clarify my original post was meant for pilots used to flying traditional helos like the huey and the MI 8 and in no way would I suggest flying in a mission without using the autopilot channels as in as I agree that it should be flown as it was designed.
  3. Bug description: Vikhrs start on correct path then veer drastically to the right. Steps to reproduce / Conditions of occurence: Unknown PC Configuration: N/A Attachments: logs and track
  4. Could be wrong, but in the interest of simplifying matters, I'm defining "AFM" as the real deal flight/physics model, no different than the A10C, the Ka-50, and the P51D. And since I love acronyms so much, I'm inventing a new one: AAM Advanced Aircraft Model: In addition to the AFM, all avionics and subsystems are implemented and available to the user via a fully rendered 3D cockpit with 6 DOF view system. AAM Modules currently available: Kamov Ka-50 Blackshark A10C Warthog P51D Mustang UH-1H Huey Mi-8 Magnificent Eight AAM Modules currently in development: BF-109 ME-262 P-47 Spitfire
  5. Greetings fellow rotor-heads! I've only scratched the surface with both the Huey and the MI-8, as I spend most of my time in the Ka-50. I've been flying lately, with all of the auto-pilot channels off, and it seems (naturally) to feel more like flying a previous generation helo like the MI-8 or Huey - which got me thinking.... If any of you haven't yet taken the Ka-50 up, or have just begun - a bit of advice: Since you're used to and presumably comfortable with flying the older gen helos, I would suggest you start flying the Ka-50 with all of the auto-pilot channels off as well -- as it will feel more like the experience of flying the other helos -- then you could enable a single channel, one at a time, to see how it affects the flight controls. If I had to do it all over again, I would have started this way myself, hindsight being 20/20!

  12. *Updated with new evidence* Bug Description: I asked for a loadout of 12 Vikhrs and 40 Rockets, and got short-changed on the Vikhrs. This is in the Chapter 2 Georgian Oil War campaign. Steps to reproduce / Conditions of occurence Fast forward to 12:00 and request loadout mentioned above. PC Configuration see attached DxDiag.txt included in archive Attachments 2 seperate logs.rar (updated with new instance of behavior) Track Logs DxDiag.txt
  13. ***Spoiler Alert*** After viewing some interesting walkthrough videos on youtube (for ARMAA), I thought it would fun to try and make some for The Vergeev Group campaign. Apparently I forgot to post a new thread about them -- as I just finished Mission #7 -- missions # 1 through 6 have been there for awhile. Here's the playlist, which I'll be adding to as time permits: Mission #01 Mission #02 Mission #03 Mission #04 Mission #05 Mission #06 Mission #07 Mission #08 Mission #09 Mission #10 Mission #11 Mission #12 Mission #13 Mission #14 Mission #15 Mission #16 Mission #17 Mission #18 Mission #19 Mission #20
  14. Man that is neat. Great stuff, Merlin.
  15. Nearly missed the second bandit -- which I didn't even realize was there until it was nearly too late!
  16. Very cool!
  17. Yup, got Staples near by - thanks for the tips - but wondered how you incorporated the piece of steel?
  18. Hi Merlin -- thanks for the link to the map -- received mine the other day. Not sure who to take it to, to laminate though. Any suggestions?
  19. You mean the one's that invaded the Soviet Union in 1941? (IL2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad), or the one's that swept through Europe and were attaked by the Allied powers in 1944? (DCS WWII: Europe) :pilotfly:
  20. I finally got to the end this morning -- that last mission was pretty cool! I captured the entire mission and uploaded to youtube -- so if you want to be surprised when you reach it yourself, don't watch the video!!
  21. Right so it should be fixed as it's part of the included campaign.
  22. This is from the Georgian Oil Campaign -- track attached along with logs. The aerodrome is Senaki @ channel 132. I tried both with radio/intercom and with engines shutdown and door open to no avail ...
  23. Updated campaign to v1.1 -- see update to first post.
  24. Should have posted this link before for mission number two!
  25. I'll try to look at it tonight and thanks for the feedback!
