  1. http://vergeev-campaign.blogspot.de/2010/09/vergeev-group-campaign-may-be-purchased.html?m=1 Is this the page you're talking about?
  2. Not sure what you're getting at -- but if it has to do with the fact that the campaign is sold and not free -- there is no issue. The campaign was sold to users from day 1, and there was an initial debate/argument about "selling" the content, but this thread quickly died as people realized the level of quality of the content, and how much time and people were required to produce it. My apologies if this was not the issue you were referring to. Also, note that now all of the missions are FREE (English version only). Finally, I am not a representative of the Vergeev Group, do not work for them, and generally have nothing to do with the official production (aside from being the #1 fan!)
  3. Wow - somehow didn't see that first time I read it!
  4. Hi, If it was posted somewhere, I missed it -- I just received a P-51 license, and wondered how we can choose our extras -- could someone involved with project at least post something as to where to find news about it?
  5. Great thread and example of how team not only actually listens to feedback from community but seriously considers implementing it!
  6. EDGE Update Clarification Request After the latest update from Wags, I wondered if anyone could clarify the statements about ability to project the map on a globe. My particular question: will the coordinate "over-lapping" problem found in current map no longer be a problem with the introduction of EDGE? (not will it be fixed in the Caucasus map -- just will the problem still be there for future maps like Nevada).
  7. Please see attached track, and fast-forward to around 08:45am, go to F10 view and watch flight deviate from the flight plan set in the ME. There are no enemies, etc. around -- I've flown this mission many many times to test it -- and this is a new phenomenon. Track, actual mission file, and log files.
  8. If it's not already obvious -- I'm just learning about all of this (terrain creation, etc.) -- anyway, found this program and it looks interesting -- any opinions?
  9. Any more reading material anyone can suggest around these file formats - maybe some good tutorials or sites?
  10. So it's not a tragedy or anything, since I already have one -- but I noticed this sidewinder I got on eBay the other day -- didn't mention Force Feedback, though since it was a Sidewinder 2, I just assumed ... and you know what they say about that! Well, does this puppy have FFB or not? Sorry about the "zoom in" instructions -- grabbed the screenshot too late -- anyway, I think it serves its purpose still.
  11. Hi Almazi, Is there anything could I read up on/study to better prepare for the release of the SDK? E.g., what is the general architecture -- aside from Photoshop/image creation -- does it use lua or some other interpreted language, or is it "purely" creating images?
  12. I could be misunderstanding, but I too would love to have all of the updates to this cockpit fixing/tweaking issues found by everyone, but also have the cockpit language in Russian. I could be wrong, but I'm assuming since the download shows Date modified: 19.11.2012 17:49:36, that the fixes aren't in the Russian version?
  13. Better yet, download and view the track yourselves at 08:05, where you'll see no grey area. No rebuttals about a threat zone popping up suddenly, because that's not how it works on the ABRIS -- it only shows threats known at time of mission start, and will keep showing them, even if the source of the zone (AAA or SAM) has been destroyed.
  14. Do I really have to record it all over again to show you that 3 seconds earlier the grey weirdness wasn't present? And look at the sea area and notice the edge where it becomes grey. You can see the circles of the zones and there is no giant red zone since if that's what it was you wouldn't see the blue of the sea at all.
  15. This is the coastline, FYI:
  16. I don't know where you went to kindergarten, but where I went blue and red didn't make grey!
  17. I should have annotated the screenshot -- it's the grey area that is the problem (the ocean) -- it's usually blue.
  18. Check out the fog in the ABRIS: Screenshot: Track, log files, dxdiag attached.

Yup, put a piece of tape over the photosite, and end of story.

Hey guys -- Im convinced that my issue is caused by my Sidewinder 2 -- and not the sim. It has to do with releasing pressure from the stick, taking my hand off of it essentially, which is causing this problem.
  21. Awesome! Thanks. BTW -- searching around I found this article, and wondered if the Peter referred to, was the same Peter in our great community. Also wondered what you thought of the mod in the article -- If the motors are always on (when plugged in), does that mean I cut in half whatever life was left in this beast because of the constant use?
  22. Peter -- I remember reading somewhere about a mod for the sidewinder 2, so that the FFB is always engaged, so you dont have to have your hand on the stick at all times (when you apply pressure/weight, then it engages AFAIK). Have you done this mod, or heard of it? I need some info on how to do it -- Thanks, BBQ
  23. Are you sure one of your units aren't exposing the hidden units? Any friendly aircraft within visual range of an enemy unit will expose that unit on the map.
  24. Another Example This time, I could not get the range-finder to lock (hitting the Enter key throughout video)
