  1. One day soon Deacon..... probably a Devastator too...... ssshhhhhhhh BBOB......
  2. This thing mounts like the individual MIP pieces mount to the over-all system.
  3. Thanks, I'll find it in the list now. Cheers okay; it's LSHF + LWIN + Pause It's in the UI Layer at the top of the list.. all kinds of generic stuff. fps etc.... Thanks
  4. This is not really a bug, but it's buggin' the hell out of me. I have been looking for this keystroke command (Active Pause) and do not seem to be able to find it. Was the name changed? doing a search for it does not find it. so I'm hoping the command is still there but called something else. Any information would be brilliant. Love to use it while I fumble about learning a new plane. Thanks
  5. That hack might work for some, but it doesn't work on my rig... Will just have to wait for old ED to get the cranial rectimitus situation under control...
  6. I found it the same way, I use Sedenion's 120 Complete DX SCRIPT. It assigns dx button assignments to all switch, button positions. So it's easier to do, but you get TEMPO presses when the stick/throttle combination is run. So this is another way of doing it. Thanks for sharing...
  7. Yep...... I know those folders, and I have placed in them exactly what I want. But every time I get in the plane there are other things on the kneeboard I did not put there. That, is the crux of my problem. No biggie I guess...
  8. I have been trying to get everything nice and tidy for the Jug, but I'm still amazed at all the places they find to hide the same functions. Now, if I have a P-47D, there is a model -30, -40, and some hodgepodge of a -30 . Now If I wanted to find everywhere there is a kneeboard folder, where would I find all of them in an OB install?
  9. Petercove, were you looking into getting into a squadron after getting this sorted?...

Does anyone know if there is a print for the TMWH Throttle Friction handle? To exted it up and to the right to make it feel like a "pitch" RPM lever on a Warbird throttle housing? Or just know of a repository where I may find the specs? Thanks Hoss
  11. Learn how to use TARGET... You have IN/OUT mode on S3 stick button, which can be toggled (stays that way till you press it again) or un-toggled, which means you need to hold it. On the throttle the UP/MIDDLE/DOWN Boat switch I leave un toggled because I don't need to hold the switch forward or back, OUT & MIDDLE are your default normal conditions. However many different U/M/D - I/O variations you need is entirely up to you.
  12. it's available for pre-order via Amazon... all three iterations of it...
  13. He's definitely the guy to go to for these custom faceplates. I've got a set for the TMWH throttle, and two for my BlackHog buttonbox. Quick turn around times too....
  14. Auto update next OB release?
  15. I highly recommend you install the pull-up resistors to keep your VCC at either +5 vdc or +12 vdc. no matter the load placed on the board or controller.
  16. The Fleets are static. You move or chop into different fleets as you cross certain points on the earth. East Coast US is the Second Fleet to the Straights Of Gibraltar, then they become the Sixth Fleet.... it doesn't change. Go through the Suez into the Indian Ocean you chop into the 5th Fleet. The third Fleet is East Pacific, Seventh Fleet, is West Pacific. Escorts stay the same with the Task Force from start to finish. I found what you needed to know in five seconds with Google..... USS Monteray CG-61, USS Mitscher, DDG-57, USS Laboon, DDG-58, USS Mahan DDG-72, USS Thomas Hudner, DDG-116. CAW-7. During the same time, I was on the USS Enterprise with VA-94 on MODLOC, GONZO Station. "Straights of Hormuz" April 18, 1988, was Operation Preying Mantis, after four previous WESTPACs, three on the Connie, with the Iranian Hostage Crisis, the war between N/S Yemen, and an excursion through the Suez Canal into the Med on my previous cruise on the Enterprise to relieve two carriers that bombed Mommar in Libya. We finally let Iran know if they Fu<ked around they would find out real quick what would happen.... Hoss USN 77-97
  17. Ask Raptorattacker, he does that in his videos of the skins he makes.
  18. Use this, there is a DCS setting to see what CPU, GPU, and Monitor resolutions for AMD and Intel CPUs and GPUs... https://pc-builds.com/bottleneck-calculator/result/1le1ci/4a/dcs-world/10240x4320/
  19. Never mind about the GPU..... I wondered what happened to the Sempre Fortis in my signature... I've just got an MSI 3080ti and an Intel i7-8700k...
  20. With what GPU?... I'm going to build myself a new rig this winter, and I've always been an intel fanboy. Although I let my buddy talk me into an AMD CPU a couple of times, that was eons ago. One thing I will never do again is go with Radeon GPUs. That page (PC-builds) is pretty useful to see how well things work with DCS. I would like to get VR, but my old eyes are not what they used to be. The NLR F/S rig and triple monitors are a viable option for me. Curved ones........
  21. LOL, what Signature?...
  22. https://pc-builds.com/ It has a DCS calculation too for your CPU, GPU, and Screen Resolution situation. AMD seems good at lower resolutions, Intel gets better the higher in resolution you go. Cheers Hoss
  23. I guess this does not work with TARGET and DCS or IL2. I try to export profiles and it does not work, I see absolutely nothing. Of course, I'm using DX SCRIPT commands in DCS, so I don't guess I will see anything, will I?... Shame.... Hoss.
  24. TARGET is so much simpler than vjoy/joystick Gremlin. GUI mode is easy, (emulating keyboards) you get Normal presses, then there are CHAIN events... push a button or switch and you can have multiple commands ( turn on battery, generator, set fuel switches) . SEQUENCE events, different command each time you push the button, (usually a momentary button or switch). Now using SCRIPT, is the easiest of all, it's ridiculous. I use Sedenions 128dx Hack SCRIPT. With just the throttle and stick, I get 96 commands, a lot of them are long TEMPO presses, which is what you should be using if you fly modern jets, and you can switch between F/A-18 and F-16 sticks and use the same profile and still get all 96 commands. Now I do have a Blackhog button box I use Joy2key with it, but only for IL2, because you have big limitations on how many buttons you use. So it's back to emulating the keyboard. You can still designate a shift function in SCRIPT and multiply those 96 commands. And his is the only script that makes the A-10 Autopilot button sequence work. Cheers
  25. I learned the hard way to check the settings page each time I added a controller or added a new aircraft to go in and clear all axis/only commands for that controller even if it wasn't an axis-type controller. Added K51's RPY trim box, and it has eight-axis outputs, along with my BlackHog, TMWH stick, and throttle I've got eighteen-axis controls. LOL... On the BlackHog, and K51 I use joy2key and get a few axis to button functions out of the K-51 box.
