  1. Is your MiG-21 key tied to the account you logged in in-game? Alternatively you can always install the module via the dcs_updater.exe.
  2. Do you mean you downloaded the installation files from DCS website? That won't work, they're for the stable release only, you need to install the module via the module manager in-game, or use the DCS updater application. This goes for all modules.
  3. Did you traditionally download it via module manager or the updater? Many modules popup their activation window once you try to join a game with the aircraft. If it doesn't even show up in the editor as playable then something's probably wrong with the module installation. Edit: The cockpit controls and pitch for MiG-21 don't work in 2.0 anyway, so unfortunately you wouldn't really be able to play anyhow at the moment. LNS are working on hotfix.
  4. The liveries are, just like most DCS mods, loose files placed in the game's directories, hence running a repair or uninstall will probably do nothing. They will likely not be removed unless you manually do so.
  5. Well aren't you helpful in providing information about your problem. Or perhaps you don't want things to be fixed?
  6. The manual lists these as operational limitations, so they could merely be about flight stability. I didn't notice any mention of the stats relating to ordnance falling off. Quick test in the editor suggests that bombs and center fuel pod fall off just like before, but that's just my gut feeling and not something tested by numbers. AA missiles stayed put at >10G.
  7. You've got your dates and builds completely mixed up. DCS: A-10C was officially released on 21.02.2011. All beta builds came before that - it doesn't matter what numbered build the beta was at the time, as long as you bought the module before that date you get NTTR for no cost. What is listed as the initial A-10C release in your link, means the finalized release build of the game - that is, after beta.
  8. He visibly unlocked and raised the gear lever in the cockpit, so the problem probably lies somewhere else than his control inputs.
  9. I don't want to be the "grammar-nazi" here but you guys are all repeating the same typo :) It's "anti-materiel", materiel meaning military equipment.
  10. Does this mean we're getting the ZA variant next week? :)
  11. Did you unlock the throttle?
  12. I tried restarting it (without MDC_campaign_results.lua) about a dozen times and even redownloaded the original mission file and re-saved it again, didn't work. However, a kind soul on IRC just sent me his mission file and upon launching it I had friendly MiGs again. Perhaps the problem is on my end.
  13. I re-saved the mission file in 1.5 like suggested, but playing in SP I now get sent alone against enemy strike packages, no friendly MiG-21 appear in any mission.
  14. Has any sort of ETA been given for the ZA variant? I understand that release dates are kinda lively with DCS but I was wondering if it's something that's nearly finished or closer to the development cycle of an entirely new aircraft.
  15. I'd just like to report that I ran into this issue with the latest DCSW build. In addition to the plane draw problems I could also see the ocean through the ground when landed. Simply switching to another resolution and then back to my native one fixed everything.
  16. May I share this with you: I thought I got shot down until I watched the replay ^^
  17. You won't notice any difference even with a low-end system, all Steam will do is eat a dozen megabytes of RAM...
  18. The mouse wheel also adjusts certain knobs if you hover the cursor over them. I often accidentally turn the HUD brightness to minimum while zooming around the cockpit.
