  1. Press the AA master mode button again IIRC Cheers James
  2. OK so sorted it now, the dialog doesn't recognise my throttle axis being moved like it does for all the other axis so I had to manually pick the correct axis for prop/throttle.
  3. Still not working for me, the only Axis visible to map from the throttle is SLIDER1 so it's like the control page is not seeing my actual left and right throttles at all, all the other axis are visible, i.e. rudder, brake pedals and joystick X,Y... Throttles working normally with Hornet..
  4. Same here TM Warthog, cant bind throttle, prop etc to an axis
  5. You're welcome
  6. Resolucion pantallas cabina try setting it to 512 or 1024? Cheers James
  7. HI Guys, Is this WIP? Page 72/73 of the new manual? Or am I missing a keystroke? You will be transported to the LSO position with the LSO workstation console in front of you. A separate Pilot's Landing Aid Television (PLAT) Camera view will be opened in a separate window. This will be referred to here as the LSO Main Screen Window. I had the GUI scaling issue which I changed back to 1 and can now see the info on the LSO monitors but I don't have a separate/pop out screen? Cheers James
  8. Thats it thanks Jafergon

  17. Just got mine today...What are people using the 2 way switch next to the Recce for , zoom maybe?? I currently have that on my throttle slider Love having my TrackIR centre on the press of that switch though
  18. Pre-Ordered :-)
  19. Have you guys tried doing "Quit" instead of "Quit to desktop"? And then clicking Exit from the main menu...That works fine for me, whereas if I do Quit to desktop from a flight in the F-14 I get the black screen as if DCS isn't giving the desktop back the GPU/RAM Cheers James ***Upgraded to 32GB RAM and the issue seems to have gone now***
  20. Same here, kneeboard crash when pressing ] to cycle through pages, at third page...I get these in windows app event log, not sure if the UH-1 one is coincidence? Sounds

Yeah it's not just missing the "growl" its the igniter sounds at start-up, the ECS noise, the spool down whine, the noise of the jetwash reflecting back onto the jet just before touchdown...I had thought Razbam had commissioned Military Sound Studios to do a full and accurate sound set but that seems to have disappeared without trace and not seen sounds mentioned on their updates. Shame really as the unique Pegasus sounds are a big part of the Harrier experience Good examples in this video Cheers James
  22. Yeah definitely, no AIs apart from the departing E2, Viking and Helo...This was just to make my Case 1 practice look more interesting and to force more line-up precision on landing :joystick:
  23. Here's mine, no deck crew yet; VFA-97 Warhawks by atomtomgo (User Files) VFA-151 Vigilantes by SkateZilla (User Files) VAW-117 Wallbangers E2 (E-2C/D Hawkeye Skin Pack) by uscstaylor (Forums) US NAVY UH-60A seahawk livery (MH-60 like) By VAAF GIZMO (User Files) Layout inspiration from; Cheers James
  24. Sollymans, I'm no video producer, however, generally I'd say you definitely want to use standoff weapons like AGMs/PGMs against SAMs/AAA which doesn't help us right now in the F-18 :-) Although given some of the expected ranges and the profile of LOFT bombing some lesser capable SAMs could be taken out by dumb bombs if you're accurate. As you say there's a tool for every job hence the prevalence of munitions in DCS and RL.. I'm no expert but my general rule of thumb is evaluate the threat/target reach and then use a weapon you're comfortable deploying that will keep you out of that threat zone. No point trying to attack a target with a CCIP bomb if you're rubbish at using them (getting more practise aside) I think you raise a good point for the manuals though that is they could have a few examples of target types appropriate to each weapon, although I bet some one has done a guide on here if you search a bit. I know there's some really good SAM threat guides on here. Have you checked out the in game Encyclopedia? And of course Google is your friend when it comes to videos or reports on the RL weapons and how they are used. Sure other more learned guys will chip in too as there is some debate about the effectiveness of weapons/damage model in DCS right now. i.e. MK82s not blowing buildings up and whether they should and what size building, explosion splash damage modelling etc etc Cheers James
  25. I had the same yesterday too with several modules, Hornet, Persian Gulf, Harrier, Viggen all prompting for codes
