At least we've got it better than the poor schlubs at fighter ops...they pay money to get less than that from a company that hasn't ever released ANYTHING!

I guess my big issue is why announce an announcement? Just make the announcement when you can...then you don't raise any expectations..and consequently don't then fail to meet them when you don't deliver.

Any information is always appreciated, but why announce a big announcement and then not announce it? ED's PR has always baffled me...Thank god FC is so good...makes it easier to wait. :)

6800GS...Like I said this problem is new, so something has changed..I just need to figure out what it could be...and I don't alt tab, it minimizes to the desktop by itself.

I reboot after using msconfig to start only system services (I start my firewall manually), so there's very little running in the background when I play. My vid card temps are normal (about 45c after a session of LO) after the minimize to desktop...

A couple of weeks ago I started to have this problem where after playing lockon for a bit, it would all of a sudden minimze to the desktop, and once I clicked it to go back into the game the textures would be all corrupt until I exited and restarted lockon. Needless to say it's very annoying to be 45 mins into a mission and then have it all screw up...I've been running FC for a long time without this problem, so I'm trying to figure out what is causing it. I tried deleting my lockon folder and copying over my clean backup, virus scans are negative, and the only major change recently has been changing ISPs (but this problem didn't happen right when I changed over). Does anyone have any ideas of what might be causing this??

They are diecast metal. The F-15 is made by Dragon and the F-14 is made by Century Wings. While more expensive than other brands (for 1:72 scale) the CW model is so worth it for the detail...and the stand. I wanted to display the F-15 in flight, but the stand was so flimsy there was no way. The CW stand is stout though :) Go to the CW site and check out their upcoming A-6 Intruder...:pilotfly: If anyone thinks they might want one of the CW VF-84 schemes you'd better get on it. The CW site lists all but one of the VF-84 schemes as sold out (all limited to 1000 pieces). http://catalog.onmarkint.com/index.html and http://www.flyingmule.com/ still have stock of the #210(variable wing) and #203 (fixed wing launch config) as of this posting...but judging by how fast the first two releases sold out it won't be long until they're gone.

Wings was a show dedicated to aircraft that was on the Discovery channel in the 90's. Disc version doesn't require activation, only a once a week disc check. If there's no disc version of LOBS I won't be buying it.

I don't know if this will help anyone having problems, but I used winrar to package it.

I'm no whiz at videos...how can I encode it so it's larger and not a HUGE file? I think it still looks okay and is a manageable size. And every night I have to let it run to upload cuts into my torrent time!!! hehe

Maybe now that you've identified the cause ED can track it down and squash it in LOBS...thanks for your work.
