  1. :megalol: sounds like fun to me!!! :joystick:
  2. If I'm not mistaken, you can switch on "full realism" to control things like mixture and radiator settings. What I was looking at was more general, however. You won't see a DCS-level of complexity in RoF because the planes just weren't as complex. I still think RoF is the best WW1 sim around though. I just wish I could understand it a bit better.
  3. No there isn't. I enjoy RoF very much. However, I don't know if I'd call it "sim lite" next to DCS. You can't flip 49 different switches and things like that in RoF because the aircraft didn't have them. IMHO, it's MORE difficult to fly in RoF because you don't have such fancy newfangled things like hydraulic control surfaces, trim, etc.
  4. I'm going to take a page from Joe Willie Namath here and make a guarantee. I guarantee that most people that are whining will buy the Mustang anyways. I also guarantee that, whenever the new jet is released, there will be just as many threads full of people whining that it should have been some other plane and saying they won't buy the new one. People who end up buying it anyway just to support ED. Not trying to be rude....just my two cents.
  5. The only games that are reportable in SVN at the moment are Dangerous Waters, 688i, Sub Command, and Fleet Command.
  6. Grrrrr.....thems fightin' words...
  7. Good job, ED. Blowing things up from 30,000 feet and modern technology and all that has its place but there is just....SOMETHING....about getting up close and personal with the target. If not a pre-order, then a definite day one purchase for me.
  8. I wonder how many of the people complaining that it isn't *insert aircraft here* will pre-order or buy day 1?
  9. Too many conditions. They basically want everything but your first born. Not worth the hassle for what will probably be FSX with some different graphics.
  10. That'd be the one to get IMHO. Free 30 day trial $18 to register. Well worth the money.
  11. Sounds like personal experience to me....
  12. Serial #: 9773 Location: WV, USA (No that does NOT mean Western Virginia)
  13. I'll save everyone the trouble: When it's done.
  14. and I just received my new TM Warthog too... Figures.
  15. Oh lucky me....
  16. What did it cost me? $1500 for new PC $200 for new vid card and PSU (because I got screwed on the stock one) $60 for the sim $65 for TIR 4 (used on ebay) $85 for rudder pedals (used on ebay) Total so far: $1910 US (not counting the $500 + shipping I'm about to spend on the TM Warthog)
  17. Funny thing is....if you go to http://www.tigerdirect.com and search for the TM Warthog you get a completely different listing than the one linked in this one....
  18. Thanks Sarge! That's exactly what I needed. Guess I just didn't look hard enough
  19. This might not be the right place to ask this, and I apologize if not, but could someone please tell me the dimensions (no metrics please) of the throttle unit for the TM Warthog? I'm considering buying one and I want to make sure it will fit on my desk before I spend the money. I have searched everywhere I can think of and cannot find them. Any help is appreciated.
  20. Yes it would...Unfortunately the only way this is possible ATM is to use the A-10A and the Su-25T in FC2. Perhaps ED will make the upcoming compatibility patch work with FC2 as well. Doubt it, though.
  21. Funny....that's the same reason I'm waiting for Nevada...so I can carpet bomb someone's house....j/k
  22. about time....
  23. Hey thanks for letting me know what the weather was Monday.... *runs and hides*
  24. Staying in the same vein....give me DCS: F-14
