  1. Please refer to the User Guide https://simshaker.com/guides/
  2. You have got 1 transducer and want to add some more. SimShaker Sound Module supports 1, 2, 4 channel out of the box. Up to 6 channels if you edit the samples. What's the problem?
  3. Hi Alan, Maybe the control unit has died. Maybe DIN-13 connector has got broken. Have you checked it? The shop is open now.
  4. No, you don' t have. Maybe there is something wrong with your Windows system.
  5. There may be some error messages in the Windows Event log. I would recommend to check it.
  6. Yes, you have to wait for the update of the SimShaker for Aviators by f4l0. There is a discussion in that thread [Official] SimShaker for Aviators
  7. If you get Gametrix vibrating pad controller, you could drive the small 12 V motors straight through the SimShaker for Aviators.
  8. Yes, such a big difference sounds strange. I guess, you could try to make them even by those Windows Mixer sliders?
  9. Windows 10 features an individual volume control for every sound generating application. Please check that you have got it at 100% for the SimShaker Sound Module while having it running. I attached a screenshot with the SimShaker Wings, just for example.
  10. No, there is no such a file in SimShaker Wings. You can see the JetPad connection status in the main window header. If you want to see the log records, please enable Verbose Logging feature.
  11. I'm not a guy who develops SimShaker for Aviators. If there is no vibration at all in any way, there may be something wrong inside the pad. Like a broken wire, for example.
  12. What do you mean here? What kind of control panel usage?
  13. I've checked the FirmwareLoader.log. It looks fine.
  14. Here is one more link to try https://1drv.ms/u/s!AtZazqt_Ko-7gaBWliv3b_lOanzRMw?e=1b6n1h
  15. I think that both of these methods can complement each other, if one was not enough
  16. Please have in mind the vibration strength dial at the remote control uini as well. You can enable it for USB mode as described in the User Guide https://simshaker.com/guides/jetpad
  17. Guys, please note that different Amper ratings is not the key factor here. It should be just enough to feed the device. As I mentioned above, something between 1 and 2 Amper should be quite enough. If one pays more for more powerful adapter, he just wastes his money. But voltage (i.e. electrical potential ) is the key factor. If one prefer rather subtle vibration than strong, that may be a way to go. I would recommend to play around with values from 7 to 9 Volts. I could see in stores adapters featuring the variable output, which could be handy for fine tuning.
  18. In a case like this, when SimShaker for Aviators controls are not effective enough, I could recommend to try to reduce JetPad power voltage from 12 Volt to 9 Volts. You will need a power adapter which provides DC 9 Volts and current between 1.0 to 2.0 Amper with a proper connector (5.5 / 2.5 mm or 5.5 / 2.1 mm, positive contact inside). That will make the JetPad motors behaviour much closer to the old pad which SimShaker for Aviators developer (i.e f4l0) has.
  19. Hello Eric, SimShaker Sound Module is an addon to SimShaker for Aviators by f4l0 software, but not to DCS itself. Do you have SimShaker for Aviators installed and running?
  20. Disable autostart with Windows feature.
  21. Alan, 5 of the 8 transducers... Hmm, that's a lot... I'm afraid it's time for upgrade. I think I could provide you with a better device now. If you'd like me to make a new one based on your old KW-908 unit, we could discuss it via email.
  22. Hmmm... Sounds reasonable. Thank you for the feedback. I think that would work. I would edit simshaker.lua and made it read-only file. But it can affect any other effect if it use bank data as well. I think it is to ask f4l0 to add a corresponding checkbox into SSA. Hi Frag, The shop is open at weekends. I usually open it at Friday night (by GMT). I hope this is acceptable for a hobby store. In other days other tasks keep me busy. Which my notice do you mean?
  23. I see, thank you. There are 4 samples you need to edit. Id = "so_99_3_1L", Description = "G+ feeling left side", Id = "so_99_3_1R", Description = "G+ feeling right side" Id = "so_99_3_2L", Description = "G- feeling left side", Id = "so_99_3_2R", Description = "G- feeling right side", Each of them consists of two channels (in your case), one of the channels is blank, the other contains a waveform. You need to select the whole waveform, copy and paste it into the blank space of the other channel. Hence you will have the same waveforms in the both channels and you will feel both sides the same way. More details about editing samples please see at the SimShaker Sound Module User Guide https://simshaker.com/guides/sound/
  24. Hi, I think that's possible. How many transducers at what locations do you have?
