[Official] SimShaker for Aviators
=Andre= replied to f4l0's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I see,thank you. There are 4 samples you need to edit. Id = "so_99_3_1L", Description = "G+ feeling left side", Id = "so_99_3_1R", Description = "G+ feeling right side" Id = "so_99_3_2L", Description = "G- feeling left side", Id = "so_99_3_2R", Description = "G- feeling right side", Each of them consists of two channels (in your case), one of the channels is blank, the other contains a waveform. You need to select the whole waveform, copy and paste it into the blank space of the other channel. Hence you will have the same waveforms in the both channels and you will feel both sides the same way. More details about editing samples please see at the SimShaker Sound Module User Guide https://simshaker.com/guides/sound/ -

Hi, I think that's possible. How many transducers at what locations do you have? -

string #53 in \Saved Games\DCS\Scripts\simshaker.lua local aoa = LoGetAngleOfAttack() I guess that's what you need for MiG-29 -
Hi Neon, I answered by PM.

Yes, you can. There is a slot in the cover and a plastic fastening stripe on the other side.

Changes to the intensity values should be applied immediately as well. I don't think any special actions to make them take effect. Maybe the changes just do not so much noticeable. That's got a bit complicated with time. It happened that different JetSeat/JetPad units and versions are equipped with a bit different motor types, which may have different params. So, SSA controls range developed having in mind a certain motors type, may not fit perfectly to other motors type. I don't think that SSA developer is able to test all the variants. I think that's to filter out unwanted vibrations during the flight which can be caused by small flaps movements. I'm not sure about the wings and canopy since I have not followed this topic closely. Please check in the [Official] SimShaker for Aviators thread.

Yes, you can. That will be your "dedicated" sound card. -

Just a guess. I would try to add 5 degrees to AoA value for the Mig-29 in the simshaker.lua script file and made the file read only so SSA could not re-write it. -

I guess more decimal digits after the point in the flaps position value could be helpful? -
The Test volume slider affects effects caused by pressing the Test button ONLY. If you enable the Boost option, its slider will affect every effects. No, this is not correct. SimShaker for Aviators by f4l0 doesn't use the games sounds at all. A kind of that. I don't know. You can try it with the SimShaker Sound Module demo mode.

Yes, the initial samples design is by me. But I will not help you. As I mentioned above, I'm mostly focused on JetSeat/JetPad related tasks. Please excuse me. -

Yes, in general that's correct. You can take any "base" file and replace its waveform with your own, changings the vibration frequency and increasing its amplitude, if the latter is less than 1. You can even make its wave form a complex thing, using audio editor tools. You can fill in some of the channels with the waveforms and make some others empty. You've got a space for creativity and imagination. -

UWV files are for JetSeat/JetPad only. No, that's not always true. In case of SSA it may be so and may be not. You can see in the log window in SSA or SSM which files are used in a particular case. -

I think you can find a few files/file sets here in the related forum threads, but not much. I'm sorry. I'm mostly focused on JetSeat/JetPad related issues. -
