  1. I would like to join in on the flight. KA-50. Formation ready. Thank you, Bast
  2. I deleted a network.vault file in the User folder in my root directory and that seemed to fix the issue for me. I am not at the computer so cant give exact file path.
  3. Similar issue here. I run a 1GB line, i7 4790 at 4.7Ghz, SSD, and GTX 1080ti. I have joined many different servers since the latest patch and experienced no stutter in some, but stutter in others. Then those same servers that were without stutter then have it. I have also noticed that the master server list does not populate after leaving a server. Good luck to all involved with finding the fix!
  4. I am experiencing stuttering too regardless of graphics settings. I am running a powerful system with a 1080ti.
  5. Hello Zeus67! Enjoying the module. Is the FPS drop solution coming in a quick fix or is this something we will have to wait till next Wednesday for?
  6. You are right. I was thinking of a stick announced by VKB-Sim.
  7. I have been holding out for the "pro" version of the stick that has more 4 way hats. Is that version still coming and if so do you have an estimated date. Thanks.
  8. Same here. It seems that instead of the aircraft doing long distant elastic banding occasionally, there are many small elastic band movements in quick succession.
  9. I haven't edited the VR Preset because I am not aware of it.
  10. D:\DCS World OpenBeta\Config\graphics.lua It is in your root install folder. Use Notepad++ or similar. I edit the Camera settings for the Medium section. From line 136 to 145 there are several ranges you can set. I have found that setting line 136 - structures = 90, 14000); to something like structures = (30, 7000); can reduce the work load on your computer and add several frames. I play with the Medium section and use it for VR, and leave High alone for regular TrackIR. With VR the edit can be great because you cant see very far anyway so why add work the your system that isnt benefiting you.
  11. In my experience, object count is one of he biggest fps killers. Editing your graphics.lua in the root folder to reduce structure render distances by more an half will improve most people's performance considerably without any noticeable issues while in VR. Avoiding over crowded servers with a lot of vehicles everywhere will improve things too. I'm pretty sure that when you hit LCtrl Pause twice you will be able to see the object count. Do what you can to get that number down.
  12. Oh and thanks for the heads-up on the new .lua file section SkateZilla, I missed that post.
  13. Reggie, once you are in game, make sure you hit L-Alt and Enter to make the the windowed screen on your desktop goes to fullscreen. This should make clicking in you cockpit much more effective.
  14. Going to the VR Tab and checking the "Use Mouse" box allows the use of the mouse in the cockpit, which I'm assuming you already know, but that doesn't completely decouple it from your head movement. As for how to completely decouple, I don't know.
  15. Derek, try my method in post #50. I have all of my VR options working perfectly. Its a pain to play with the fullscreen option but only takes a few extra seconds. I only seem to need to do it for the VR options. Oh, and once you have the mouse decoupled from the view and you are in game, make sure you L-Alt and Enter to fullscreen your game window otherwise you may run into issues when clicking things.
  16. Possible temporary workaround for Oculus users loosing menu when clicking ok after changing VR settings. 1. Go into the VR menu and disable headset. 2. Then go in to the system tab and select or deselect fullscreen mode. 3. Once you get full screen/non-VR mode working, change all you settings to what you want them to be and then re-engage VR mode and reclick fullscreen mode in system again. You may need to restart afterwards. Not sure of the exact combo to make this work but playing with the fullscreen option seems to get me through the issue.
  17. Just received my 100mm extension and I have to say I am very pleased with this product. The quality is superb and allows for the flexibility of different twist angles for center mounting. The warthog just cant reach its performance potential without the increased travel mods like this one provide, and at this level of quality and customer service. Dealing with wasy100 has be especially great as he has been quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. Pick one up when they are available and you want be disappointed!
  18. Hello Karambiatos, Find a little program online called Xpadder and use it to make an 8-way hat assignment profile. Then make the four diagonal positions of the hat be recognized as two key presses. Example (I use default dcs keybindings for Shkval movement and not these example keys); w=up, s=down, a=left, d=right. So to make the Shkval go on a diagonal to the upper left you would need to press A, and W on the keyboard at the same time, so use Xpadder to recognize the upper left position of your eight way HOTAS hat as AW, up to the right as WD and so on.... You will then need to run Xpadder when you want your 8-way HOTAS hat to allow diagonal movement of the Shkval. I have no problems starting and stopping Xpadder during a session when switching between aircraft. This has worked for me for a very long time without issue :) Bast
  19. 74th_Bast is now my name and I am in the process of changing it on this forum. I am looking forward to this event and more like it. Thanks to those responsible!
  20. I was at the workshop for the duration today and applaud the huge amount of effort put forth by 74th Tyger and all those who attended. Look forward to more sessions. Bast
  21. Ill do my best to be there! Anytime someone encourages people to get into the KA-50 I hope the community comes out and supports. It is an absolute blast to fly if you take the time to practice the basics but is an angry bull when handled incorrectly. I highly recommend this workshop as the 74th do top knotch work in this community and much will be learned. Saddle up!:joystick: Bast
  22. Everyone go to your closets pull out you "A" Game and dust it off! I have tested this mission out and I must say it is a great one. Make sure you join the available TeamSpeak server detailed in the multiplayer server text and READ THIS BEAUTIFUL BREIFING TWICE and refer to the in mission briefing often as there are many details to consider throughout this ever evolving senario. Thank you 74th Flying Tigers for the hard work! Bast
  23. I have played all of mia389 aka "Smokey"s missions and think they are great. They all keep getting better with age as he is always looking for ways to improve them. He's pretty experienced with other game editors and expect he will put the effort into this one until he masters it. He is also a pilot and pilot instructor in the real world so he can bring some expertise to any flight sim community. Definetly a member of the commuity to support!! Bast
