Some success. Everything works. BUT in the cockpit the image is still double and unusable....outside views are full 3d. Too bad it will not work in the cockpit view...I tried the convergence settings but the CTRL+F6 and CTRL+F5 did not make any difference...I tried to use those setting while the game was running. Question..This is in LO FC2 and not Warthog..have not tried A10C or BS as they are on a different computer. This computer has LO FC2 so I assume you are using A10C. Have you tried LO FC2? Lazduc

Greg, Too bad about the raid, the last 2 machines I haven't bothered with a raid setup...the drives now are fast enough...I guess if you raid 2 ssd drives it would be faster, but then again they will only transfer at 3.0 speeds. Back in my day(lol..I am 70, live in Vancouver, Wa but spent 1.5 years in Wash.DC in school while in the Navy..Intel and Language) the drives were Rll, MFM and even the later transfer protocols benefited with Raid setups. Now however the drives transfer at the fastest chip speed and from what I have heard do not increase in data transfer....unless you are just concerned with redundant data. Greg, I would be interested in any problems when you enable sli when using both cards. I think possibly with two video cards the images get skewed like rendering the wrong frame...that is how it appears on my setup. Win7 64bit, 285.62 on 2 nvidia 560's, Flam Clif 2, I72600k, 8gb,sdd, acer hd235H, nvidia wireless glasses. What are your video game settings. resolution, aspect ratio? Thanks for the reply.. Lazduc

Tried again last night....the 3d works but the resolution/size and sync is all off. If you cross your eyes and just look into the cockpit you get the full 3d effect...cool..major headache if you do it longer than 30 seconds but the second you shift your gaze out the cockpit the 3d effect is gone and you see 2 frames...crossing your eyes again you can see the clouds and again it is cool but do not do this over 30 seconds... It appears that the seperation of the two frames is to much as they cannot come together with the glasses, if this makes any sense. I tried different resolutions and screen ratios but nothing worked..too bad as when again crossing your eyes and seeing the effect is real cool. I have the wireless glasses and a 120hz Acer monitor. By the way it is guite a hassle to set up the 3d in sli and then get everything to sync in with a program... If anyone has a driver that works please list it here and let us know. I am using 285.62 nvidia...which does not work correctly in 3d with DCS. I have two 560's in sli. Lazduc

I have a 120hz monitor and the nvidia wireless glasses. I cannot get BS or A10c to work. I can get the 3d vision to work..its very cool. I have 2 nvidia 560's in sli...first time I tried with A10c it crashed my system...I actually had to remove one of the video cards before I could reboot as it trashed my video drivers completely. I will wait till the technology matures a little more before I go through that again...somehow the DCS programs do not play well with the 3d and sli setups.

Yes I already posted on the input/output but have not received enough info..thought I would ask here also. New TM warthog with latest firmware, and A10c and latest version. When I first fired it up the TM although it is recognized in Win7 it does not connect automatically with A10c program. The TM warthog controller is suppose to connect and configure itself. I can get the TM to see some of the axis but not all of them..and not the CH pro pedals correctly. How do I fix this problem?? Do I have to load a profile? I thought this controller was a plug and play deal. Also none of the buttons work...none of them...strangely the trigger does. Also I see when I try and configure the controller manually that all the axis are titled joy something and never hotas...as if the joystick is all the configuration sees. I can see the controllers and pedals in the options/controls section. Should I not see something else besides joy-x. joy-y even the pedals are joy something....any help would be appreciated. I reinstalled and same problems...and it crashes now sometimes. I have found that there is never any link estlabished between the game and controller...none of the buttons work in the game...some of the axis are working but my rudder pedals do not and I cannot get them to work correctly. When they do they control the wrong input. Under the game controllers under windows I see all the controllers and everything operates correctly but in the game nada....and again I thought this TM Warthog controller was a plug and play device...no..its not in this case. My specs are I7 2600k, Asus P8 Z68 Deluxe, 1200w power, 8gb, 2 1tb wd drives, 60gb ssd, 2 nvidia 580's in sli, Tm warthog, 3 19in panels running through triple headto go, tracker 5, two powered usb hubs one for the TM all by itself, the other for the Triple headtogo, blueray, dvdhd, etc. I am disappointed with this program A-10c and this TM warthog controller. I have the 1.1.0 version. I have a G 940 logitech that I might be forced to use...Shouldnt this controller link up automatically?????????? Is there something I have missed...something I have to enable first so the program sees the TM controller???? Thanks for any help. Lazduc

In the controls portion when I click on the catagory nothing happens so I cannot load a profile. Which do I select....?????? the simulation or the game? In the game mode the selection/catagory works but after loading a profile...example for my foot pedals it loads but the axis are all wrong. Lazduc

Ok I will try your suggestion..do you know about the reinstallatiion procedure I mentioned?? And also, isnt this TM unit suppose to link automaatically to the program without any intervention??? help with tm warthog controller Tried your suggestion but nada. It still returns with the axis all wrong. Yes for a plug and play this is not going well...I might add I tried a saitek controller before I hooked up the TM unit..I am thinking of reinstalling a10c and have a question..does removing and reinstalling this game do something to the license like use up an installation unit and I only get two or something simular or do I turn off something first and then do this??? Is there a procedure or can I just uninstall it and reinstall it? I am also using CH pedals which seem to configure itself as a joystick slider which is on the throttle ....and the throttle endes up like the rudder and then the rudder is like the throttle...trying to correct this in the settings is getting beyond me...as I tried this 10 time. :helpsmilie::helpsmilie::helpsmilie: Any other suggestions...and please let me know about the reinstall procedure. I connected my TM warthog controller, works, but when I start A10C program the controller which I thought would hook up automatically and have all the functions automatically enabled, does not seem to work. What do I do to get this to function correctly?? It is recognized but the functions are not correct and the axis are all mixed up. Thanks for your help. Lazduc :helpsmilie:

I have two other systems that are water cooled, both cpu and gpu's. I used Danger Dens water cooling parts and a Eheim large water pump. I do use a Trackr5 with my system. I dont want to use water cooling anymore. The dual 580's in sli add to the frame rates. True cpu is important, and with the I72600k I can overclock on air without worry....to a limit of course. As I stated I am pushing the sli through a triplehead to go device. It acts like one large monitor. Next year I will try the 3d setup...I will have to get two more 24in 3d panels. 120htz. I want to make sure a10c will run on this type of video setup. If it does I will use this in the pit I am building. I picked up 3 19in touch screen and 2 8in that I want to play with. I want to set up a Helios cockpit. I have a friend who has a 737 cockpit that is almost the real thing. He has been at it for over 7 years. He is going to help me with my project with the a10c/blackshark. Lazduc

Update..finally loaded a10c but first connected my new hotas wart. I reflashed it before anything. I am running a P68z68 asus with a I72600k with 8gb ram, 60gb ssd, 2 WD 1tb, blueray/and DVD drives, 1200watt PS, and 2 Nvidia 580's in SLI. I have 3 19in viewsonics being driven through a triplehead to go. I built this machine 3months ago and purchased the hotas also 3months ago..why I waited?? Scared I would fry the hotas as it had a reputation of bricking. Waited for a release after a boxed version was available. Everything seems OK. :D I have access to a large format printer (color) (fast) and printed out both manuals for a10c and blackshark. While waiting, 2 months ago I did fire up the new computer and found the video cards running hot...I mean hot. Worried me and at this time this machine sported a asus p68p67. Difference being pci-e slots close together on this board. Purchased the new motherboard since you can place the video cards father apart since the new p68z68 has 3 pci-e slots. Not wanting to tear apart the new machine with the p68p67, I just duplicated the old, new one. Only difference is now one has the newer motherboard and the older, newer one has 2 Nvidia 560's. The difference between the 560's and the 580's is a lot but the 560's have 2 gb of memory where the 580's have 1.5gb. The 580's are running at about 55c full out...before they were at 85c. Also while waiting...and having an extra computer, I purchased an acer 3d monitor and the nvidia 3d glasses. I loaded Lockon Platinum and set it all up for 3d and BLAM...killed the new computer ( the one with the 560's). I really wanted to run a10c on it but after getting it running again after 2 days of fighting with drivers etc...I am back to waiting for this to mature a little more. Has anyone run a10c (latest version) on a 3d system in sli?? All this just to run a10c. I figure I am into this 5 grand. I am planning on selling the one system to recoup some funds. Now comes the fun...learning how to fly this guy. I am also about a quarter way into a cockpit build...dual controls sorta so I can fly blackshark and a10c. See ya in the skys. Lazduc

Guys, I purchased the Thrustmaster controller. I have been waiting for the boxed version to be released but decided to get it on line. I think I missed the sale.... since the download takes about two hours I do not have enough time in the evening to baby sit the download. I was going to use Steam but just when I was going to put in my credit card number I hit cancel and aborted it...it was getting late. My question is after you purchase the download do you have to download it right then or can you wait and do it at a later time? Do they issue you at the time of purchase a coded number or something that is usable later? I just dont like the idea of purchasing software and not having a hard copy. What if I want to transfer it to another machine, what can you do? Lazduc :huh:

I have a cable network connection. About how long does the download of 10c warthog take? And how large is the warthog file? My download speed is about 4mps...although it does not sustain this speed unless the server is also as fast. I would really like to get the dvd version but it is not available in the U.S. Can I download it to a thumb drive and then transfer it to my flight sim rig? I am in the middle of building a new computer and with this sale going on I want to take advantage of it. I have purchased a thrustmaster warthog stick and am anxious to get this up and running. Hello, Purchased the hotas warthog controller. :huh: After reading a lot of posts and the latest post which was a continued problem with the units dying. Has anyone come to a solution for this problem. My serial number is 07110. I am not going to plug in this device until I am sure its not going to die on me. I think this controller has the latest firmware.....is there anyway to tell the revision without this unit failing? I have read asus motherboards are the culpret. Also plugging into a external powered usb hub may stop the failure. Do any of the owners of this have any advice before I plug this in and fire it up? Purchase this software? Do I purchase the old beta that Wags talks about in his message dated October 2010 and then patch it with the latest patch 11.09 or does this patch contain the entire program? MasterPilot QuickShot Controller If I understand Necroscope, he advises to just use the buttons and not use the paddle switch. He says to plug in a controller of any sort and use it as such. The buttons will not respond when I use my x-52. The lights work indicating that they are energized but I cannot see key push indication. The buttons will not respond even without a joystick..as this device is positioned between the keyboard and computer. Anyway if someone has the software I would really like to get it. I was diggin through my box of old flight stuff and came across this controller. It is simular to the thrustmaster mfd. But it is a much older generation...I cannot find the software to program it. I have an older system that can program it. I know that the bus speed cannot be any faster than 66mhz...think 486 era...but I am told that it will work on the new systems as it is really only a keyboard emulator type of device. It plugs in between the keyboard and computer. There are photos on several sites of this device. Does anyone have this software??? The company is long gone. They have a programming module on amazon but it still needs the original software. Thanks. :helpsmilie: Lazduc
