the chines got a reputation of a copy cat... but I think that it is not because they are not capable but because there is a lack in confidence and support to their own stuff. They are hard workers and if the west does not wake up it will outrun every country. Here in America there is a lot of people that want to bring back the manufacture from china; but will it work?

I don't want to sound disrespectful; but those guys on f-16.net are very bias, who an blain them the f-16 is a nice jet. The problem with the su-27 is that it stayed frozen on the 80s. while the f-16 keep getting upgrades over more upgrades. but if you take an su-30mk that is a totally different story. Even the US pilots recognized that when used properly; an su-30mki could beat f-16s and f-15 on a daily bases. Lest not forget that that is the primary product from sukhoi. How many countries already have the su-30MK? I don't think that it is just a handful. Yes the russian su-27s are outdated but how do you guys know that it didn't got upgrades on radar software and ecm? What about the su-35, this thing is going to have more power than a flanker and a totally new flight control system, you don't have that on the f-15cs or f-15es. What about the TVC ?

so know what are the aoa limits of the su-33? In lock on the alha meter reeads 33+-?

AMEN! I like russian jets a lot, but this guy is being very pessimistic about the f-35 performance. As other said before this guy wants the f-22. the f-35 has better avionics than the raptor, the raptor has a lot of performance but its avionics are 90s design, the f-35 has the advantage of being under development.

oh, It may be because vista audio acceleration is different, I have problems with lock-on's audio, and that is really sad.

Yeah this helmet is cool and looks like it work just fine, but to me it is not practical. If you are on war do you think that you are going to have time to custom order your helmets for each one of your pilots, what if you get transfer pilots from other places, what if your custom made helmet fails, you have to other custom made $8000 replacement? what if the helmets are not delivered on time; that would pretty much disable one aircraft. hell now I know why the f-35 cost so much, it is like a hand made machine, just like a Ferrari. If this jet is going to war, the helmet needs to be standard and work for all the pilots with some kind of adjustable settings. Would this thing protect the pilot eyes during an ejection? the visor looks delicate to me? has this thing been tested during an ejection? would it help to keep the pilot head in the right position like the primitive and heavy Russian helmets do? I guess I'm the only one likes the first gen model.:doh:

yeah just before the merge drop a a few feet under him and the do a loop you would compensate for his smaller turn radius and the use power management to keep your turning performance, at leas that work for me at the guzo only server last weekend (I rarely fly the eagle) y was able to down some flankers that were just pulling like crazy confident on their fantastic turn radius. but honestly the best way tu outturn a flanker is with another flanker :thumbup: I also got killed once because the excess of speed on the eagle (my fault) made me black out. :pilotfly:

he should turn this model into a su-33, that is my hones opinion.

rudder deflection at high speed on he flaker look a bit too optimistic, improvements on ground handling and brakes would be nice. The brakes in lock on must be the envy of any car manufacturer, also the handling, how come I can turn this ting on a dime at around 60 km/h or more without hitting the tip of my wings!
