So what did the SE carry mostly? LGBs and JDAMs? I heard notso talk about he never really carried dumb bombs on tour and all he ever carried was LGBs and towards the end of his career, he got JDAMs with the + model.

Lastly, same mission with F16 instead. No need to lead to designate, or anything. bomb dead on Is it the F15's older design that's the limitation (hence need for WSO) or something up? It was my mistake. I had to be flying towards it. I could have sworn when I made this post, I was flying over it about to release, but I can't replicate it now. so it must have been me.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I see the LGB is following my moving target on the TPOD and laser is firing. However I'm not hitting the target. CDES and PTRK are both boxed in and TPOD is actively following the moving target. also, any tips on which direction I need to turn etc to get the laser to follow for longer? the method I use on the F16 is not working on this jet. I did have magician installed. No warnings. Out of 10 resets, I saw it maybe twice when I started to have issues. Completely random. The ither is a Samsung too and thst one seems fine. Just pita... rma was quick, just gotta mail it back. And you're Completely right. I enjoy the f16 the most, but still have issues (like pre mode on mavs) and low fuel and light payload. F18 I haven't flown much recently. I have been enjoying the f15 alot, but still need to learn it better and wish I had a back seater. It's Def doable alone though. Also hoping we had jdams and hmcs soon. I've been having fun with the a10. Load it up with gbu54s, and go hit lased targets by jtac on mp servers. Was having a blast with apache when it came out too but forgot how-to fly thst thing now. Thst being said, i just cant decide what to fly! you understand my dilemma. Honorable mention goes to the harrier as it's a fast jet (albeit short legs) that can drop some gbu54s!

Not sure if this is a bug or I'm doing something wrong? Playing mp and doing auto start. Just realized i don't have fpm, the aoa bracket or the asl for ccrp. Jumped in a new plane and same thing. Any ideas?

Practicing with some LGBs (maybe dumb bombs do it too) but I'm getting TTGT instead of TREL cue on my hud. All the videos shows trel... I'm not sure how to switch it so i get my drop point and not when I'm on top of thr target lol. Any help?

Hey all, my brand new SSD took a crap and I just lost everything that DCS was on. I am temporarily installing the game on an older sata ssd until the RMA is done from samsung. When I get the new m.2 SSD back, i'd like to move it back to the new one... How is this done? Do I just move the root folder that it's being installed on and that's it? anything else needs to be done?

And I totally jinxed myself. my 1 month old 990 pro m.2 just failed. game was on it. windows sometimes sees it, and sometimes it doesn't. just RMA'd and now reinstalling DCS all over again. lost all my joystick configurations too. damn...

Yep you heard me... I haven't played in a bit, so I forgot some of the specifics of each jet. I was excited to get the F15E... in 1 day, i flew the A10, F16, Harrier, J17, and the F15. read up manuals and yt videos. I can't decide what to fly, what bombs to drop. I'm overwhelmed guys. I can't pick a plane!!! just wanted to share. I'm having a blast. lol

Driving me nuts. I think it's hardware, but which??? system is all acting up. i reinstalled windows fresh. still did it. went to an older nvidia driver... DCS worked (maybe luck) Thought I fixed it. Went into MFS, and it crashed. now it won't boot. war thunder did something similar perhaps the 3090 is done what's weird is, if I restart the computer (hard reset or soft reset) the mobo will not find a bootable drive. if I turn the machine off, and turn it on, it will boot. right now it won't even boot though. I can't even see the POST screen. maybe it's the motherboard, who knows.

I'm having with my computer and actually just did a fresh install of windows and putting everything back. This was happening before, and it's still happening... any ideas gents?

Hey gents, At a loss here and not sure which direction to go. Both MFS and DCS is freezing. I haven't tried other games, but I feel it will be the same... I've removed all overclocking and brought everything to "default". temps look great. I'm doing a tress test and running cinebench over and over with 100% cpu and temps steady at 60c. CPU is a Ryzen 7 5800x with 360mm artic II got kombustor running for stress test on my FE 3090 on latest drivers for about 20 mins now and temps steady at 67c nothing is overclocked. I launch a game, I fly around for a bit in either game and bam. system freezes and I gotta restart. I've reinstalled MFS multiple times now. Can't seem to find the culprit. any ideas? is there a way to see in windows (I think there is, I can't remember) what driver/dll failed before system freezing which might give me an idea if its a peripheral failing?

ahh I see what you did. I can probably do this. I want to eventually get the MIP too, so this can work. I was thinking of cutting a piece of acrylic like this. How did you put those rudders in there? I have such little room there, I had to get some cheaper small ones to fit.

Hello, Just got my Orion 2 F16 stick and F18 throttle. I'd like to add the 2 extra panels from Winwing, but I have an Obutto cockpit so I have no mounting solutions unless I come up with some ingenious engineering. Can I mount those 2 panels (combat and take off I think?) somehow to the throttle and stack them? Thanks

Gents, Looking for a single side headset with a boom mic for gaming. I have a great razer headset but I don't use it often. I like the immersion from my speakers... so I want a headset that is only on one ear with a mic. It would only be for comms. Srs etc... game sounds will play through speakers. Would be cool if I can get warning sounds on thst speaker too but i don't think dcs can do that Anyone have any suggestions? Would highly prefer wireless.

I assume with this I can't fly on mp servers?
