Hello fellow simmer. I'm looking at buying a new module and I'm hesitating between the F5 or the mig 21. Which one would you recommend ? Which one is the more polished ? For those of you who own both what is you're preferred bird ? Thanks

Question is it "easy" to change the F5 for another aircraft ? I was thinking of the M2000 that could do A/A and A/G as well. I would love to try it but don't have the F5, I record someone writing he did modify you "defender of the caucasus" campaign to adapt it to another aircraft. Just don't know how he did that not if it could work with this campaign.

Just finish it and appart from a few bug, mainly with radio, it all went smooth. Congratulation very immersive campaign, rather easy but perfect to learn a bit deaper the Mirage. Looking forward for the follow up of this campaign in the Nevada Map and why not other if you feel like making some. Great fun, merci !

Very interested as well. I don't own the F5 either but that's definitly what is missing in DCS, an "F4 like campaign" DCS is great but is somehow lacking of content in terms of what to do with theses great modules. looking forward to this.

I support this conclusion, take your time guys, please double check and released more polished stable version. It's a lottery now for every new update will my module still work ? Will my campaign still work ?

I support the OP each and every update there are new bugs introduced and you have just to cross finger in hope that the mission of the campaign will work as intended. It happen on a regular basis, last example with the last release that broke the mirage 2000 campaign. I understand it's a complicated piece of software but an update is supposed to clean bug not too introduce new one every time. I can't think of an update who did not break something in a module, it's most frustrating and annoying.

Just for a sake of clarity I never say sedenion software is a malware just report an avast warning and ask if he can check. I'm fairly confident sedenion software is not a malware and that the issue is on avast side. That being said I now use Avast since more than 10 years, I'm sure there are better alternative but so far it's free and I never have a virus issue using Avast so I stick to Avast. I was planning using sedenion software to instal a ground mod which I finally installed using JSGME that does the trick so end of story for me. Thanks you sedenion for providing what's look a great tools and sorry for the mess it was not the intent.

For the guns it's too short and for the bomb it's too long. The left and right seems ok. But if other player manage to hit the target then the issue is most likely my (lack of) skills rather than the TAS.

My bomb always miss by a good 15 meters. CCRP, CCIP, INS, whatever the reticle is on target, my plane is not shaking everywhere but I can't aim properly.

I'm not too sure where the module stand in that respect but wheter it be CCIP, CCRP or with guns the ordonance never touch where I aim. I don't pretend to be the sharpest shooter but systematic miss is a bit annoying. Is TAS, or more generaly HUD indication for Air to Ground bombing / strafing, suposed to be accurate or does it still need fine tuning ?

Radio problem on Mission 6

If I kill avast I manage to download it, however if I make a scan of the dowloaded software avast still warn me about a menace being detected. I guess I can kill avast to install it but I'm afraid of potential issue afterward with avast preventing the software to perform nominaly. I guess I will pass for the moment.

That's weird, I try multiple time and every time avast refuse to download and made a warning message about a "FileRepMalware"

Hello, When I try to download your software (v1.6.6 Setup for 64 bits version) avast block the dowload and tell me there is a malware in the file. Could you please check ?

The speed depends of your weight. So you don't want to aim for a specific speed you want to have the speed chevron within the indicator on the HUD and the flight director upon the landing point. This will give you a 14° AOA (indicated on the HUD as well) If you have these parameter you are good to go and the speed will "automatically" be the good one.

I switch the hydraulic pump only once and not twice as requested now. At least that does the trick and the IP carry on talking to me.

Mission 1 After firing up the engine my leader ask me to light up the VOR tacan and stuff, which I did and then I have no more f10 option to tell him I've done it just like I did for all previous action before. So the mission stop here...

Try it again and monitor my speed and this time I see the bracket in the HUD for the TD option. Work like a charm, thanks for the explanation.

Then maybe state clearly to move the selector to the far right. I confess I am not familiar with the name of the greec letter (my mistake, I lack culture) and as the knob was rotated counterclockwise I stick to this scheme.
