[DCS World / FC3] SU-25A & SU-25T English Cockpit Mods
Devrim replied to Devrim's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
HUD thing is not related with my mod. Please go GAMEPLAY* page and change AVIONICS language to English. It will be OK. * Thanks MAXsenna. -
[DCS FC3] MiG-29 Complete English Cockpit Mod
Devrim replied to Devrim's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Who are THEY? ED don't do that. You must have installed the F-5 mod there, man. If you copy and paste LIVERIES folder with subfolders in a directory, Windows won't erase all folders under Liveries and keep LIVERIES' content. There must be a wrong step done by you man. Because there're so many cockpit mods and lots of users use the Liveries folder under Saved Games to install mods, and we use this installation method for years and years, and nobody said "pasting Liveries folder deleted all content of current Liveries folder, and all my mods gone". As I said, maybe you deleted by mistake or something. Probably there's something wrong with MiG-29 Standalone's Custom Cockpit feature, just like Mustang or Harrier. I have only FC3 module, so I'm sorry I can't test Mig-29 standalone module... -

[DCS FC3] MiG-29 Complete English Cockpit Mod
Devrim replied to Devrim's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
What is that "F-5 Liveries" mod? Aircraft skin or cockpit mod? Don't let "Liveries" word fool you. Cockpit mods are placed in Liveries folder too. And, again, this "overwriting" thing never erase or delete any file, mod or etc that you've already installed. It's just a pre-cautionary word. Last words from me; the mod structure is simple and simply you should copy "Liveries" folder into "Saved Games/DCS" folder. That's it. You don't need to struggle with the content of the mod, description.lua or something. -

Devrim replied to Devrim's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
No. That "overwrite" thing is just for "Liveries" folder warning. It's not an important thing. Saved Games/Liveries is just for the user mods or things. No worries. The stock liveries are in Program Files/... ... ... /{aircraft}/Liveries/ folder. *** Another Q: You have FC3 or stand alone MiG module? -

Weird. Since you're DCS or beta user, the mod has to be working! -

DCS: Black Shark 2 - Custom Cockpit Mod
Devrim replied to Devrim's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
You're welcome guys. The mod is released. -
Hi. This is just a result of another boring night. This mod includes a few modified parts of Ka-50's current EN cockpit. Colored temp and pressure gauges. Autopilot buttons. Reduced brightness. Yellow zebra texture on Master Arm switch. Rockets parameters table (from Ricardo's cockpit work). L-140 Laser "OFF" and "OPER" texture bug - fixed. Made proper backgrounds for a few "OFF" label. Darkened the Rocket Correction Tables on the right door. UV-26 buttons (from Ricardo's cockpit work). IAS table on the left door (from Ricardo's cockpit work). Warning marks on the from dash gauges and APU gauge. Feet scale for altimeter gauge. Knots scale for airspeed gauge. New ID number plate background (from Ricardo's cockpit work). B, H, K letters on the power indicator is now T(ake-off), M(ax), C(ruise). EN red flags on ADI and HSI. This mod also includes my "Dirty Windows" mod. If you will criticize me about the originality of this module, I'll understand you and you're right. Of course, installing these mods is completely optional. If you prefer to install, I hope you'll enjoy. Thanks, Dev. DOWNLOAD: DCS: BlackShark2 Custom Cockpit Mod v1.1

New Copmuter : Which files should I transfer?

I did the same thing and I copied: Config, Kneeboard, Liveries, Misisons, Screenshots, Sounds (some mods) and Tracks. -
I don't think the take-off difficulty is realistic.
Devrim replied to sandcat's topic in DCS: Bf 109 K-4 Kurfürst
I think I will agree with you, Sandcat. I haven't flown BF very long time, and I remember my take-offs were flawless and nice. Last week, I experienced exactly what you told above. Full right rudder has no effect to balance the airplane enough. BF highly tends to go left and you have to use right brake to keep the BF in line. -
Shadok, those functions are for Warthog-like HOTASes as Swatstar said. So, please try "Mode Up" and "Mode Down" commands for your HOTAS. I use them for X55 Throttle. No problem. Thank me later. :D ;)

I agree with MaxSenna. It can not be a romour. I can realize the top of the dash of my car on the windshield, but I may tolerate it because my eyes can focus beyond the glass. But somehow in DCS, even if you can focus beyond of the glass, the baked reflections irritate my eyes and they're distracting. I can accept baked reflections in only one condition: They should move in correlation with my moves in the cockpit. :)

Manual starting up is a part of this sim, to me. So, normally and always I don't use auto-start. But, if I test something about a mod for a cockpit or something, or learning a system of the aircraft or testing weapons etc., I use auto-start, or create a mission with "hot parking" or "on runway" option to start to fly faster.

DCS: AV8BNA Warning Lights Mod
Devrim replied to Devrim's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Thank you guys. Oh Shrike88, I'm sorry I missed your post, so sorry. I don't know why, somehow I didn't notice the problem on MFCD screens. Let me have a look at them. See you. Unfortunately, I don't have L-39C module, mate. I guess you don't need a software like JGSME or OvGME for this kind mods. As I mentioned in ReadMe text, just copy Liveries folder into Saved Games/DCS folder. :) -
Marsvinet is right, two post below. I'm sorry.

DCS World doesn't recognize modifier!
Devrim replied to Devrim's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
This problem still exists. If I run DCS without HOTAS, somehow DCS forgets modifiers. Next time I run DCS with HOTAS, but DCS doesn't recognize modifiers. I have to re-set the modifiers. :(
