No, server only has a 32 ping, I just tried it again. Even when I just view someone else, it's like they are one minute on the runway and then the next in the air. To be honest it's like rubber banding I see. I get 60 fps with my settings offline, but could these setting cause online lagg?

So is this how it would really be to land the Huey? If it is why with all the technology they have would they make it so hard to land?

Just been on a couple of servers to see what the sim was like online, but I was a bit shocked to be honest. I saw planes and helicopters lagging all over the place and I have a 60 gig connection. I don't see this in other games so why this one? Is it normal for this game to lagg like this because when I have watched youtube videos I don't see this with players online? Am I missing something here? This was a server with about 18 players on it.

Are the Saitek combat ones the ones to go for, or are there any others anyone would recommend? Are there also any cheaper alternatives that are just as good?

I am mainly into fly the A10C, and the P-51, although I did purchase Blackshark 2, and the Heuy, in the sale. I want to know if it's worth buying the pedals mainly for the planes, or is the stick alone better for rudder control? If you do think I should get the pedals, then are there any others better then the Saitek combat ones? Cheers!!

Well if something like that happened around my place of work you would guarantee everyone would know about it. Hell, you can't even pinch a few coffee beans at my place without everyone knowing. I cannot see any announcement from Ed that the patch is broken and I am wondering if they are just going to leave it like this until the next patch? I take it that there will be no hot fix is what I am meaning? I haven't downloaded it because of all the comments, but you would of thought Ed would say something if they thought it was broken just to clear matters up.

To be honest all I'm interested in is the work that is being carried out. I have to say it's a bit of a nightmare going through all the one word comments like "Great and Thankyou". I know people like to show their appreciation, but someone should just make a sticky appreciation thread or a news thread in each one of them.

Welcome, I am also new, but I'm getting getting better each day thanks to the community. I don't think I have asked one question that hasn't been answered in a friendly manner and I've asked lots lol. You will also find YouTube good for tutorials because there are lots of them. My next step now is multiplayer, I have been holding off untill I could learn the Ramp start, Ils, Tacan, Weapons...etc

Should I update or not? Given all the posts I want to know if it would be wise not to update? But if not will I still be able to play multiplayer and do you reckon there will be a hot fix anytime soon? Seems to me there are mixed reviews about the update, but most people are saying it is causing problems.

Hi I purchased VAC a few days ago and I am having problems finding my profile folder. I want to back up a profile I made, but I cannot find the profile folder in the path it says is the default one. This is "C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\VAC". I don't see a folder named VAC in the roaming folder and I didn't change anything at install so it should be there. Can you tell me where else this folder could be? Thankyou!!

I have installed VAC and have made a profile. I am now looking to back it up, but I cannot find the profile folder anywhere. I never changed the default path, so where on Gods earth is it? Does tacview still work in this, if so what version do I need and what does it do? I heard it is better then the ingame recorder, but all I have seen of it is these weird little lines the plane makes in the air. Not hijacking the thread, but since Hugepanic has mentioned it, I'm just asking.

I have a better idea where can I get a Scarecrow mod from? But come to think of it, I'm sure it was an ostrich that got sucked into my engine last time and I don't think ostriches are scared of Scarecrows.

Huston, I have a problem and I have no idea why this could be happening. I would say about 3 out of 7 of my last landing have resulted in a fire in one of the engines. I feel this has something to do with the speed brake, but just to rule this in or out, I am asking here. I would just like to know if applying speed brakes just as you are about to land could cause a fire? I ask this because everything else looks good when I reply it back and it's the only thing I am using alot of when landing. Thankyou!!

I will do, I have actually just made a really good profile at last. I have a feeling each trackir is different to everyone else's because some of the profiles I have tried are terrible. Seemd I have got mine spot on because I feel like i'm looking round the cockpit natural now. Anyways, thanks for getting me to change it because I would never have bothered to be honest :thumbup: Did have to laugh at the guy in the video with that stuck on his head though, I wonder if I look as silly with all that stuck out of my head lol.

I know what your saying but I already spent ages on it, I'll give it another bash though and see how it turns out. I don't know how the Fish uses that low smoothing mines set at 48 and it seems far to quick with how he has it setup.

Is there any VHF AM, ILS, Tacan Mods knocking about? I just don't like having to use a snap view to dial my sfuff in. When I try to do it using trackir, it's not fluid enough, especially from ramp start when I cannot see behind the throttle. I was hoping I could get something that would maybe pop up on screen for me to type them in or dial them in.
