  1. Owned by the British by any chance?
  2. Depends, on one hand a lot of the Mi-8 is empty cabin space. .50 cals going through there shouldn't do much. A vulcan on the other hand should probably rip the chopper out of the sky.
  3. One other note is that the campaigns in DCS aren't truly dynamic in SP either. Some of them are story driven while others are randomized in that the front line moves forwards and backwards but damage isn't carried over.
  4. Yes I'd say the difficulty level is comparable to WoE, perhaps a little more complex. If you're wondering we have the Georgia/Black sea Caucasus region at the moment which is pretty big. You have the ability to make your own missions down to a minute level of detail (compared to WoE where the "editor" sucked"). 1. Yes, on different computers. 2. Kind of, you can fly a series of linear missions but they won't be saved as a campaign as such. It's worth checking out the free DCS world with the Su-25T for a bit just to check on FPS and such before you spend any money.
  5. Well ****ing diddums. Are you going to go off in a tantrum and punch your pillow now?
  6. Can't out it better myself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=yUlV17F2rR0#t=648
  7. Binos, laser and IR were in the options menu shortly after BS2 was released I believe but never worked.
  8. A patriot radar doesn't. The dish is fixed so it covers a 120 degree area. To have full 360 degree coverage you would need three radars.
  9. I don't think so. The animations mean that someone has thought about it but not actually implemented it yet.
  10. Open up the control window when you're in the game. (RControl+Enter). This should tell you if the stick is behaving strangely. In addition do you have any other devices plugged in?

Leave it like that. I'll be fine!
  12. The key to homework and exams is Bullshit. Got me through mine pretty well. (It's art so bullshit even more)
  13. The white strip on the wing is infact just to the left of the nav light. As for the displays I've no idea. Does it really matter?
  14. Only if you're in the US. (Talking about LOMAC right?)
  15. The impression I got from that story was that the pilot believed that he was firing on a genuine target, unrelated to the exercise.
  16. Other way round I believe. It used to be possible to order the JTAC to give a group without being able to see you. On the other hand there cannot be major obstructions to contact the JTAC. Especially with a weak radio like the FM.
  17. That's true. Shame you've already bought lock on as they're moving toward making single planes available without lockon. So far only the A-10A and Su-25 are available but is saves having to buy lock on.
  18. They took the removal business a bit too far.
  19. Anyone else expecting mower to reappear suddenly?
  20. Yes I think that is the idea of this.
  21. No and No... To have another player as wingman then just have two groups with one plane in each.
  22. Missing the joke me thinks...
  23. Stick some M-818 trucks in there. You've got a tanker truck there, hence the reason you get fuel I assume.
  24. Although you make a point that the euro + rafale have seen combat I don't really regard a plane and a tank/ bloke with an AK as a "similar opponent". In addition the US haven't really had the perfect war for the F-22 yet, deploying them to Afghanistan wouldn't help there as I suspect it's poor at CAS and the USAF have other more capable planes for the job. Pretty much the same reason the eurofighter has not been deployed to Afghanistan (has the Rafale?). There's better planes for the job.
