  1. He's worried about his hair loss, no wonder he wants to take out his frustration. :D
  2. 11. PVI Master Mode selector can be rotated left [RALT + V] and right [RALT + B]: o “ОТКЛ” = Powers the PVI-800 off. o “КВД” = Verification of entered data. This mode allows you to check a waypoint’s coordinate and other data without changing the active navigation mode or steerpoint. o “ВВОД” = Edit waypoint. This function allows you to enter waypoint coordinates, wind conditions, and other data. To do so:  Select EDIT  Press “ППМ” and the small upper window will display the total number of waypoints currently stored.  Press 1 – 6 on the keypad to select the desired waypoint number and the current waypoint coordinates will be displayed.  Using the keypad, enter new coordinates for the selected waypoint. Note that you should indicate N/S or E/W prior to entering the coordinate. To make the coordinate positive, press the 0 key first; to make the coordinate negative, press the 1 key first. When set to negative, a “-“ symbol will appear left of the coordinate.  After the coordinate has been entered, press the ENTER button. Or, you may press CANCEL to clear the data on the display. This is from the Ka-50 manual, it might help. It's page 137 by the way.
  3. 400 knot dive, very hard pullout and you'll never worry about your wings blocking your TGP again!
  4. The MWS uses the RWR display but basically looks for the missile, be it heat seeking, radar or your wingman's mavericks. It will have some blind spots and if a missile is launched at long range it may not detect it. By "pod", do you mean the ECM pod on the wing? If yes then it is the ALQ-131 and we will soon have the ALQ-184. This simply tries to jam an enemy radar and doesn't affect the MWS at all.
  5. That's a typo in the post above, "Fraps" is what you want.
  6. Now that is really handy. Cheers. Hey man, how you doing?
  7. Thanks very much guys, getting somewhere with this between that guide supersheep posted and the battle book. It definitely feels more satisfying to do it properly (ish :P)
  8. Jettison canopy simply doesn't work. As for eject, Control-E three times is eject. When you start from ramp you need to arm the ejector seat which is the yellow striped handle just to the left of seat.
  9. Have you dropped one of those things recently? I'm usually not that fussed about FPS but even for me that FPS drop was ridiculous.
  10. I don't see why people wouldn't be able to take advantage of nevada, they'd have to pay for it but they can still use it.
  11. Are you wondering what it is? If yes then basically, it just shows how many rounds for that event.
  12. The flexible sight is stupidly sensitive to damage. Check in the debrief if you're being hit.
  13. Only the F-14 can be armed with the AIM-54 so if you're going against Tomcat's, be very careful.
  14. This, this is kinda trippy. Pretty epic though, keep going!
  15. Shouldn't do, the ability to drive the UAZ after ejection has been an easter egg for years.
  16. They do still get damaged but when the missiles hit you see a puff of water rather than an explosion. It's still doing the ship damage though and they sink the same as ever.
  17. You might have missed a bit there paulkri, he stated he was joking a little later. :p
  18. Nice mission, good atmosphere and I managed to sink that sub eventually. Is the sub's position and movement randomized each time the mission is loaded or is the path always the same. EDIT: Never mind, just had a look at the code and it does appear to be randomly placed.
  19. I assume he means the performance of the aircraft, like speed and what not. I think the answer is yes but I've never tested.
  20. This won't work in a campaign though as I discovered to my cost.
  21. Doesn't work like that in the A-10C as far as I'm aware.
