After a certain time not flying the Hind, tried again. But opening the sight doors won't work (actually not working in a self made test mission, but works in the tutorial) , did it as described above, no joy: it says open the sight doors, the "O" key doesn't work, neither the "door" switch is engaged or not. Are there any changes I missed due to updates?

Just setting up controls due to new stick an recent updates: where has the Hide/Show Stick function gone: has it be renamed in any way not to be recognised, searching the function in setup from the name shown in cockpit view cannot be found, has it been forgotten or removed- and if so, why?

Since the last DCS update it crashes again, nothing new so far. My question is: are the developers of this fine piece of art, absolutely worth to be taken into the crowd of all displayed aircrafts in this sim, in touch with the origin DCS team at all? Just to prevent this "hunting the solution". If YES: why does it happen? If NO: why don't you do it. And to DCS: of course not every idea can be brought through, but in this case the development has gone so far, it should be worth to be at least playable.

Yep, deswegen in dem M-2000 Thread, Sicherungen alle auf ON und der MirC irgendwas Button in Stufe 1 und 2 gemappt und...NIX

Nach einiger Pause und X updates: welche Tastatur Combo löst nun eigtl. die Waffen aus? Gun hab' ich gefunden, MirCOB 12345 oder was auch immer tut nix (im Stick Menu eingetragen). Es wird immer nur verschlimmbessert, früher war alles besser: stimmt nicht- früher war einiges gut und man hätte es so lassen sollen

Sorta "hijacking" this topic: I found in some cases it is not possible to set up to drop bombs or fire rockets, no dogfight mode engaged, safety trigger up, pylons elected, jettison in off position, pipper in manual (and it jumps according to movement, what should not be). Resetted every thing and started the procedure again- no way. Even the same in AA missiles after having done a ground attack. The AIM locks, pipper reads in range, but cannot launch (and no over G in pipper). It's digusting if it happens in a long term mission....

No, but there is no "Nose wheel Steering" button to be mapped. And again, how does it work "in real"?

What I actually wanted to know was the procedure, how to perform this. The quote above from a "manual" (which one?) is not very helpful. The use of separated brakes, ruder, thrust, common brake or anything else leads to spinning on a circle, almost unable to stop, turning left/right independently from using brake, rudder or whatever. See my confusion? Is it somehow to compare to the system in e.g. MiG-21 or L-39?

So how does NWS work in that edition?

Problem solved. For some reason the key command "LCTRL C" fell off the list.

Cannot close canopy by mouse click or "CTRL C" since last update. Any changes in in keyb. setup or other?

Ok in this case above mine. The thread started on 10th of July. Today is the 8th of August. The update today announced and done...where is the hint that is has something to with PCA edit: beside this thx for the input ;)

After the recent "update" 2.5.5.34108 there seems to be no way to choose bombs (PCA button BLI). Or do I miss/misunderstand something? Tried to search new manual or something, but even in the training mission it doesn't work (if any changes happened, they should be renewed actually...) The radar screen doesn't change when chosing BLI as it used to, no pipper or anything. Nice work to the "update". Or did they change the entire procedure, and if so, where is the manual (in the deep deep caves of this forum).:cry:
