  1. Figured it out. Mission Editor/customization/labels.
  2. LOL, if you check my profile, you'll see I've been here since 2011. And if you check the User Files under tttiger, my mission-making name, you'll see I've posted more than 100 over the years. I was merely suggesting that if you have so many ideas and so much spare time, the Mission Editor can be your friend.
  3. Wow! Thank you!! Works great and much easier than the old PowerShell method. Thank you, SharpeXB!!! BUT....Labels still won't work. Is there a setting I am missing? Can't figure it out. Any help, PLEASE!
  4. My computer was hacked so I deleted Win 10 and updated to Win 11. At the same time, I reinstalled DCS (latest version). Since then I cannot get labels on any aircraft in any mission. I tried several different buttons for All Labels. It showed in the controls menu when I hit the buttons, but no labels appeared. How do I now get labels? Similarly, I am unable to do a repair from the powershell as I often did in Win 10. How do I now do a repair? Thanks in advance for any help.
  5. With the number of posts you have, you certainly have time to build missions. Build it, post it in User Files.
  6. I wasn't talking about you.
  7. The glowing reviews are a joke. All of those reviewers were bought and paid for by Moza with free hardware. They all claim Moza had no editorial control over their videos but, hey, Moza has more peripherals coming out and no one bites the hand that feeds them (with more free stuff and a direct line to Moza to work out any problems). That said, I still can't get my Moza to connect to DCS controls. Pity none of those ethically-compromised reviewers could have provided a step-by-step guide. None did.
  8. Great video! But (there's always a but) I can't fiure out how to map my axes in DCS to the stick. A genuine "how to" or "for dummies" is sorely needed.
  9. Did a second download and install and all the bin stuff reappeared. Thanks, Max!!!
  10. My bin is inside my World folder which now is inside my Open Beta folder. Problem is: the bin folder is there but it's empty. Is it supposed to be this way?
  11. Maybe I'm overthinking this....I had to reinstall DCS and it gave me both a DCS World and DCS World Open Beta. I thought Open Beta had been eliminated and the sole remaining game folder was DCS World. Where do I install Mods, Skins etc. ? Also (related, I think): Since reinstalling, I can't find a bin file in either World or World Open Beta. Where is it? Hard to do a Repair without the bin.
  12. Israeli Bf109s had MG151/20s on the wings. So, they were used.
  13. I have updated both. My Moza is plugged directly into my computer. Still no joy. How???
  14. uhmmmmmmmmmm...okay I'll give that a try....Thanks....
  15. Yes, the base shows up twice and I disabled one. I was pretty sure i kept the best one but it was just a (uneducated?) guess. I have no idea why I got two. What I need (instead of all those largely useless "What it feels like" videos where reviewers thank Moza for all the free gear they were given, is a simple step-by-step setup guide, a "for dummies" tutorial. First do this. Then do this... Maybe Moza base and the Warthog stick don't play well together? Maybe I need a Moza stick? I'm stumped.
  16. they sure seem to be. Just reconnected. No joy.
  17. Problem with new MOZA base and Thrustmaster Hornet grip: Unboxed, installed it, put in firm wear, all (I think) according to the rather minimal instructions. Problem is in setting up controls. I use the DCS controller and it works fine until I try to connect with the stick grip. It doesn't recognize and of the buttons on the stick. Controls on my throttle set up fine but not the buttons on my stick. I'm probably doing (or not doing) something really stupid. Do I need software from Thrustmaster to set up the controls on the stick. If so, where do I find them. Right bow the base and the stick controls aren't speaking. Any help greatly appreciated!
  18. Amazing sight! Thanks for posting!
  19. There is reference to mission briefings but I don't know where to find them. What folder were they (and other docs) installed in?
  20. Aha! (Slaps forehead). Since the latest patch I have been unable to fire Sparrows and Sidewinders (both use the trigger). Now I know why. I checked my settings and Trigger setting had been removed. When you mess something up with a patch, you really should announce it!
  21. "Ghosts of Atonement" is the source for all the single missions I am posting in User Files. It is a terrific resource, recounting every F-4 mission flown by the IAF during the war. I'm about half way through the war. Check out User Files/Single Missions/F-4E/tttiger tony the tiger
  22. Okay. Figured it out: Go into your ...\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin folder. There, hold Left Shift and right click and click "Open Command window here." Then type: ".\DCS_updater.exe repair" in the command window and hit Enter. Let it run and you should be good to go.
  23. 6,000+ posts and the best you can do is "Read This." Sheesh. Okay, I read that and I'm still stumped. I want to do a repair but I can't find the powershell to enter the command. Where is it??? Simple steps please.
  24. Thank you. That's what we in the US Army would have called a BFO (a Blinding Flash of the Obvious)
