  1. Well NotiA10 if you read my original post, you would have seen that this is not the only issue mentioned, which btw doesnt bother me so much. It was mainly because of F-15 bugs.
  2. Yes I am using version 1.12a. I installed Flaming Cliffs over clean Lomac 1.0. Should I patch it before to version 1.02?
  3. Ironhand! Well to understand my issue, select F-15, go set up a few waypoints with the last one on the airfield. Then go flying for some time and cyce through different waypoints and navigation modes, (landing and normal navigation). Go fly of course across the map and then choose selected waypoint. The info on the HUD and HSI will be messed up, HUD will show you for example 4NM and on the HSI 20NM with different bearings (not the course deviation nidle). In some cases HSI showed me direction to waypoint which was behind my aircraft, but HUD navigation cross showed it in front and counting distance down while HSI was dead or counting it the opposite! This most often occurs when choosing LANDING waypoint from free flight. It takes some time to reproduce but it happens almost every time. As regarding A-10 reticule, I dont know how it looks on the real aircraft. Its just that in the game it goes big after you emptyed your load. Im not sure if this footage from a clip is even aim-9 reticule. It looks more like rockets piper with little ticks sorounding it and the plane is in air-ground mode firing???

  5. I have a question about A-10 air-air mode. Why is the aim-9 seeker reticule so small compared to F-15s? When still having cannon rounds, its small, but as soon as you empty it, it gets much bigger, similar what you get on the Eagle. This is a bug which exists from day 1 and still ED didnt find time to fix it. The community dont seem to bother also. And the switch which controls rate of fire for the cannon is still not working. Rate of fire simulated on A-10 is nowhere near reality. I wonder how is it with other cannons... same. Why is that it still has unfunctioning navigation? It gets messed up on HUD and HSI, showing different numbers, bearing etc..( same case wtih A-10) And why do ground and true airspeed indications on radar display show incorrect numbers now? This bug wasnt present in Lomac. True airspeed will now show indicated airspeed, same as on the HUD. ??? Look, I dont want ED to IMPLEMENT NEW THINGS for western aircraft, obviously they completely ignore this, just to make avionics simulated WORKING. Is that too much too ask after all these years? All they do, is bring new russian hardware and improvements for it, but no improvement in western part. But in order to have a FUNCTIONING game these severe issues must be finaly fixed in Black Shark. Right now you cant fly complex missions with F-15 and A-10, simply because of fact, that navigation is messed up and this is the very basic element to have. Now that they are not anymore under Ubi Soft supervision, they decided to be arogant to US stuff and do just russian. Flaming Cliffs is nice example. Or Im doing something wrong?
  6. Well I have high scenes and preload at 100km but to set vis. range to high? It would kill my Athlon XP 2600. Is even there a way? Han? Alfa?
  7. This is really frustrating me. I tried, but i just couldnt change the way the scenery looks in the game. The graphics are much worse now, all blury and transparent. No more sharp looking buildings, trees, landscape. You have a feeling like you are flying over a nuclear wasteland or just that many objects have been cut out. The populated areas look like they have just been blasted away. In 1.02 emersion was spectacular when flying above cities or near the cost. No more. Is there any way we can change that? Modify something in graphics files or what? Please somebody who knows respond.
  8. Holy shit. These new sreenshots of vehicles and weapon models are awesome. Airplanes compared to these will now look ugly. Damn cant they make new models for Tornado and F-14. makes me crying... Anyway keep up the good work on the rest stuff with old 3d model. And improve contrails to fell more dynamic. Great job ED keep up the good work! PS: I really dont know which graphics card will be able to run this smoothly and with max. settings. I hope there wont be some radical LOD adjustment to see a target like a dot on you TV from 3 miles. lol
  9. Little confused here. Does Ka-50 have RWR or not? Some people say it has, others that it doesnt. Janes claims it has... Well any response from a moderator would be welcome to clarify this thing once and for all. And what we will get in the game anyway. I personnaly cant imagine a modern helicopter without RWR. Its plain stupid. How on earth would it survive on modern battlefield? Frustrating for the pilots also. That armor plating wont help you against a missile fired at you, which you dont even know is there.
  10. OMG, since when do EWR and Awacs detect surface targets? This game is getting more and more arcadic as time progresses. Its a joke for word "simulation" really, a shame. I wonder what devs have to say. Remember back the advertising of how hardcore this sim would be?
  11. My God. It makes you wonder how devs did it. Maybe Cray supercomputer lol. Waypoints are supposed to get you out of trouble not running directly into them.

  13. Yes its a "special technique" (transparency) which should increase our FPS and they say it looks better than method used in 1.02. Give me a brake! It doesnt increase FPS at all, (the gpu must draw things otherwise unseen making extra stress) image quality is crapy because we can see stuff throught solid objects-very odd and ugly. Its a shame looking new 1.1 screenshots with such worse scenery than it was in 1.02 - which was great btw it just had pop up issues. I hope they will find a final solution for Black Shark.
  14. All of you guys are arguing about Mig-29, Su-27, Eurofighter... But could it be that actually Mirage 2000-5 is the most manouverable fighter? I found this link http://www.mirage-jet.com and it is stated that it could do 13.5g!!!! It could be true, in Lockon no plane is able to compete with it guns only and videos i have seen about it suggest awesome responsivness and agility so what do you think? Anyone got flight manual? Remember back when Lomac demo was released and people complained that there just isnt the way to win the dogfight. (Mig-29 vs Mirage) They tought it was some sort of ultimative cheating AI or something.

  16. I wonder if ED will redone the way we use mavericks now to be like IRL. The K model is completely messed up and fictional. It has TV image and no mag. Its like the A model. Real missile uses IIR seeker just like D model with addition to CCD seeker and is the most recent variant out there. I hope we will see this in 1.2 because it is really a must have for hog pilots.

  18. 100% agreed. This is the issue that should really be addressed in 1.2 cause it is not some minor thiny to just left it over. It significantly decreases A-10 lethality. ED please implement this before release!

  20. Does AIM-54 have its own radar like amraam? It is stated that F-14 could attack 6 targets simeultanously with its missiles, that could only be the case with ARH missiles right? Or it can do this in TWS mode with semi-active missiles? I looked all over the internet and found no mentioning of AIM-54 having active radar guidance. In lockon F-14 engages only 1 target at a time. Little confused here... if someone can help.
  21. Im asking because ED also promised that we will see AFM for weapons but then they cancelled it. So are we going to see AI aircraft using same model and if yes, will this only apply to player controlled aircraft (flown by AI) or to all AI planes?
  22. The fact is the Lomac is the most dependant on CPU. Its extremely inefective in using that power thats why even todays CPUs cant run it all maxed out. Well its a Russian game... Drivers also make very big difference on performance and remember latest are almost never the best. Even if developers said so. You will have to try many versions to see which suits you best.... Good luck. PS: And remember cpu,cpu and again cpu is the rule for Lomac.
  23. I cant believe that nobody doesnt care about cheating AI in air combat. The enemy always detects you first, can burn through yours ECM sooner and have overwhelming SA. If I go with my F-15 against F-16 or Mig-29 for instance they can always detect me first and burn thru my ECM despite the fact that Eagles radar is vastly superior. And this happens against all aircraft exept F-5!!!! How much realism is here if AI is so strong? Where is each aircraft unique radar moddeling? And strangely it doest matter if you go against F-18 or -16. It appers there is no difference at all. In that game I am feeling beeing in the Tiger and not Eagle. Will this be finnaly fixed in 1.2 or are we have to be satisfied with current model? It doesnt make sense to have any serious campaign if you are from the start in worse situation over the enemy.
  24. Will the Lockon: Black Shark feature truly functioning cockpits or will just certain things be adjustable? Im asking because I suspect that only switches on the main control panel and around MFCDs will be clickable. The side panels contain also very important things. In planes right now we have for instance features accessible through keyboard which is just fine(I dont support mouse interaction because it greatly complicates handling with systems in the middle of the combat) But the switches have no ANIMATION except some little exclusions like gun rate change, master arm.. There are no changes when you switch between combat modes, navigation. (look on the F-15 side panels and you will see how many switches are, otherwise moddeled but have no animation. Basicly I would like to see more dynamic cockpits because right now we have just turning dials and changing MFDs. I think if this was implemented in future it would be much cooler than having clickable pits and would wastly shorten time invested in producing such pits. Instead there would be more time for AFM?, AI and bug fixing, realism features...
  25. Well go fly over a city and compare buildings density on medium and high vis. settings. This setting alone is the ultimative FPS killer. The difference is more than clear. You have got very sharp image at that screeny but the ground has little detail.
