Not sure why you need the inserts they are on either Grainger or McMaster the paint tutoria is located in the right counsol knob in the for sale section. I will post a link when o get home.
Most switches can be use easly there is at least one tutorial on the form personally I would tell you to use milspec you just can't beat the feel.I use what ever type is used on the sim ie theses three way can be used for any three position switch you would want a momentary for any side there is one. As far as connecting I have been following Han Solo.
With out knowing what type of Honeywell switch your looking for. I would say eBay you can find deals like these three way toggles that makes using milspec switches affordable https://www.ebay.com/itm/362291231430?ul_ref=https%253A%252F%252Frover.ebay.com%252Frover%252F0%252F0%252F0%253Fmpre%253Dhttps%25253A%25252F%25252Fwww.ebay.com%25252Fulk%25252Fitm%25252F362291231430%2526rvr_id%253D0%2526rvr_ts%253D1df595291630a9cb13c1fe85fffbbe4c&ul_noapp=true

With the thread title I was addressing the original question. If you would have list that you had read the posted thread it would have been helpful.
To answer your question on the sniper pod the only reference i can find is out of Jake Melampy's Modern Hog Guide . First Paragraph page 15 paraphrased Lists A-10A+ 80-0232 as being modified by ANG/AFRC test center to test the Sniper pod Ordinarily the A-10C is the only variant to employ the pod.
Does any one know who picked this up off of eBay?

There was a seller on eBay the hornet store I think he is out of business.
a google search shows the simulator store still up it still has some parts listed a search on eBay shows a MFD still for sale . I don't think you will find some one making any thing.
There are not any accurate A-10 ACES II plans out there. The F-16 seat is different and the seat is designed to be reckoned twice as much as the A10 seat leading to an uncomfortable seating position. If your looking for accurate cockpit plans. Check out the plans Hansolo released.
I make about a dollar a Knob on shpeways. I don't plan on making push buttons for the CDU , UFC or MFCD, do to they would need to be painted and that may not work with the cut outs in the back lit plate for each unit
You did not know what the dash one is you ask we answer now your all up set because you looked bad well your digging a whole . have fun this is why I don't answer questions.
You asked what it was I let you know if you have a specific question ask but when you have not taken time to educate your self don't expect some one to hold your hand.
