  5. Glad you liked it I am thinking about making a few about A-10 C panels
  6. Very well done! Thanks for posting
  7. If you hd 0 skills when you started you learned well looks very good!!
  8. if you want the same switch as on the real throttle look for a MS24659-31N 8504K8 toggle switches you may find some cheap ones on eBay.
  9. Unfortunately I don't have access to an F-18 so that i can accurately model the knobs. \There was a sell on eBay with knobs at one time and a member here purchased the molds for his knobs last year. I have not seen him sell any thing yet. it takes abit of time to correctly model replicas witch i prefer to use connecting arduinos to my A-10C panels
  10. I reposted his linked video. I don't know if any of the knobs in my shop are correct for the F-18.
  11. I think your asking a bout knobs and not switches. Knobs are back lit through clear or transparent areas in the panels. The backs of the knobs are clear and the white line is translucent.
  12. Hi Guys Happy New Year how goes the project?
  13. No difference in the regular bat switches i have in the travel. the ON-ON switches are usually cheeper you can use DCS bios to program the switch so you can use an ON-ON as an ON-OFF
  14. That will make a great copy of the AAU 34
  15. Now here is a deal if you need one of the best A-10 C references. https://www.ebay.com/itm/THE-MODERN-HOG-GUIDE-THE-A-10-WARTHOG-EXPOSED-BOOK/282785123198?hash=item41d74e8b7e:m:mnTDb-RKN9y25LDcEWHZ80w
  16. great work
  17. you have so few panels in this you could model correctly every thing you need with one museum visit.
  18. Those corners do not have bevels they are rounded a bevel would look like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bevel so the side of the back plate would have an angel cut off the face of the plate. basically making an edge on the side of the panel. Your screen capture was not label so I was not sure what was your work and what was possibly SWAGed by some one else. have you measured the distance between the Dzus on the O2 panel ? Do you happen to have the Model # of this larger O2 panel or a reference or is this just a scientific observation by you? I have not seen any real panel for an O2 regulator that size. all of my reference material has all Modern From the 70s O2 panel at 3 inches
  19. Hi what do you mean by Beveled? the back plates are cut perpendicular to the face of the plate. There is not a half Dzus spacing. looks like your dealing with to much SWAG scientific wild ass guess. The O2 panel looks to be where your problem starts if we search on Google for a CRU-68 we get set to the manufacture site the first spec sheet i found is for the CRU-73 outside Max dimensions are 5.75 by 3 INCHES (your working on soft ware use inches for your lay out) now if you refer to a couple of mil specs. First Mil-F-25173-A your rail is .242 inch holes laid out in line on 0.375 inch centers( yes this is 3/8 of an inch . The panel should refer to Mil spec MS=25212C the Dzus holes should be located 0.562 down from the top of the panel and 0.192 in from each side with a measurement of 5.365 inch between the holes. add it up and you actually get 5.749 inch so there is a +/- area here. The next hole for a Dzus stud will be on a multiple of 0.375 from the first depending on the size of the panel it will not be the 0.562 from the bottom of the panel the panel should be up to 0.015 short of the total length of the pane to establish a gap between panels.

  21. With out having a clear pic of a real display just watching a couple of videos I would say that the displays are dot matrix and not 16 segment displays. Size I don't have a know reference to guess. I would get them in white (a larger choice) and then use green filter material over the displays and then the glass and frames that are attached to the panel.
  22. post some pics it may help not every one is familiar with what your looking for.
  23. Here is an interesting Video on an F-16 cockpit build
  24. Looks great!!
