Your statements are based on assumptions of his design. I have not seen any yet and i would like to ask if this pit is using tongue and groove connection as in the AB cockpit construction. in this method the thickness of the plywood is critical as it is used as the tongue and sets the width of the drawn groove cut in to the next piece of connecting wood. IF jrsteensen uses a method more like my design for the A-10 Cockpit it negates the need for critical nominal dimensions of the material used. Placement of the parts is base on measurement from known points of the base. From the picture of the consoles posted i don't see any real problems arising from dimensions or material Imperial/ Metric

yup snow hog a gray or green ,white and black version of the euro cammo used on the hog. If you google it you will see the tops of the wings are not black though.

The A-10 Slew has the same push button set up as picture in the F-15. even though it is not listed as being used at this time the T.O lists it for future use. It is not complicated the entire switch move back just a bit press on a lever that triggers the push button.

Hey just telling it like it is your doing a great job and providing a service that everyone said could not be done. The fact your making small runs where you can provide top notch service is a Big plus in my experience keep it manageable it is not your full time work but it is a job. where you must provide service and a quality product and so far that is what your doing. I would suggest when orders dwindle and it no longer pays to do it cut back on runs. Communicate with your clients/ form members and when the end comes as it all ways does let every one know well in advance before you close up shop. I wish you great success Dm:thumbup:

Deltaalphalima1 congratulations on your WHTM slew mod many said it could not be done or promised to do it for nothing and never delivered. The fact that you have produce two Modifications at different price points is great I wish you only success. I would deffinetly purchase a unit but my grip is a real one with the real switches so I just don't need it. Now a bit of advice for the guys that have purchased it praise in public he needs to hear he is doing a good job and future customers need to know he is a trust worthy business. IF you have a problem contact him first let him solve the problem this is a very small niche market, sport it cheers

Very hard to tell with out a reference next to the knobs or knowing the size of set screw. there is no way for me to tell. Most knobs on the A-10 are less than an inch or 25.4 mm in diameter so there is not much meat to set a nut in

The main thing the set screw is there for, is to keep the knob secured to the shaft so it does not spin .

romeokilo has mentioned in his post he has purchased several of my knob from shape ways and been very happy with them . The knobs are made with a shaft and set screw holes printed in. He has not mentioned using anything but a tap and set screws. check out his build here on his thread. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3473297#post3473297 I have sold a few knobs now to different guys and have not had any one let me know the material from shape ways has failed to hold a set screw perhaps RK can give you some advice.
